I almost always find Shelley Winters annoying. But I quite like her here. Totally different vibe. #SOB #TCMParty

Waiting to "get" Richard Mulligan's way over the over-the-top performance. #SOB #TCMParty

Is it me or does that doctor treat every injury by just sedating the heck out of the patient? #SOB #TCMParty

I like that Robert Preston makes up ridiculous careers when getting to know hot women at parties. It's like he's testing them. #SOB #TCMParty

I'm dying she's so cute!!! Is she satisfied everything is ok and that you can be left on your own now, or has she decided to stay to keep an eye on the rest of the movie?

Exactly! Everyone needs to stop whatever they're doing NOW while I take this dog away because obviously you can't be trusted with it!!!!!

I don't know but it was extremely annoying that neither of them really finished expressing a complete idea either and often that happens because of Ben's thing for interrupting but this time I think he might have been trying to help her out there. Painful.

Sounds like it! Oh, wait, there she goes! Does she say it in the intro AND outro? Anyway, I don't think they managed to get to any meaningful insight between the two of them. That was just a lousy disconnected conversation.

I recorded it when it aired last time and after my first watch, liked it so much I watched it again. It was easy to convince me to turn it on again tonight. 😄 I ignored the intro but now that I've found your post (you're absolutely right!) I find it funny I don't seem to remember a thing she said.

Yup. cool cool cool. It's been raining 2 days here and it has rained way too much since spring, so... cool. Is there a noir entirely outdoors in the desert? What I can't figure is why noir films we can't see are replaced with Key Largo so often. They just aired it instead of Noir Alley on Sep 19/20.

Also interesting! I didn't expect Notorious or The Treasure if Sierra Madre, but I feel like I get the latter quickly and have to think harder about the former...
