Here are some of the tenets of Sharia Law:

• Government based on religious doctrine
• Women have fewer rights than men

• No separation between church and state
• Religion is taught in school
• Abortion is illegal

Curiously, these are the same beliefs as the Republican Party. So if you want to enact Sharia Law in America, vote Republican.

The way I read @ruticious.bsky.social' reply is that we need to confront the evils of any religion that says your children are evil because they don't love the people or express their gender the way you want them to, and to ask towns and states all over to support people who are struggling.
