Can’t wait for the ai bros on YouTube to try to sell me on why it’s a good thing that open AI wants to pick the model you use. And how they STUNNED the industry by announcing that gpt-5 is just an automated model picker 😂

12 of the 18 keys on the left side of my Corne 36 suddenly stopped working overnight. Seems like a diode issue. I bought it less than 3 months ago, so thankfully I was able to reason with the ali-express seller to send me a left kit (switches still work), hate waiting for 2+ weeks for shipping tho

My beloved Corne-36 with the two top rows on the left side, as well as the middle bottom key, and left thumb key suddenly died today. This has been my daily driver from the moment I received it and i’m pretty bummed about having to switch back to my clunky Kinesis freestyle 2 until the replacement left side kit ships :(

One of my favorite parts of Paris is the English bookstore with a negative reviews highlight section

1 star review of All fours reading “put it down halfway through, life’s too short to be annoyed voluntarily”

Babel - “all i’m gonna say is this: I am too fucking dumb for this”

here are some favorite pics I’ve taken over the years :)

A double exposure portrait
It of my friend Omar who wears glasses with a tree bark exposing through his skin.

Double exposure portrait of another photographer, Chris, as he points his camera at me. A golden cloud is exposed in the center of the lens

In the streets of shibuya japan, a man in the foreground prepares a meal with the light shining in his face. In the background, Japanese businessmen celebrate and drink together.

this is hunter, she is a model I worked with on a fashion shoot 5 years ago. Last I saw, she was walking in NYC fashion week! Good for her!

Post you from a different era in your life.

my circa 2019 when I was full on pursuing a career as a photographer. Still love photography, but decided I prefer it as artistic expression and hobby rather than ruining it as a job.

turns out the optimal tenting angle for my split keyboard is an Xbox controller 😂

Desk setup with a Corne 36 keys split keeb, logi lift mouse. My blue and black Xbox controller provides the perfect tenting angle. On the second level you can see my monitor and a few fidgets.

are you ready to go small? If so, I’ve been loving my 36 key mini Corne (though I might recommend the regular 42 key variant). But it requires some setup I also swear by the Kinesis Freestyle 2 (also split, but full featured and just works but no BT) If u want another keychron, I like the K6

Ilya & Greg: Elon we’re worried you want absolute control of AGI to become a dictator, can we talk about it? Elon:

Leaked Elon email replying to Ilya and Greg.
“Guys, I’ve had enough. This is the final straw. Either go do something on your own or continue with OpenAI as a nonprofit. I will no longer fund OpenAI until you have made a firm commitment to stay or i’m just a fool who is essentially providing free funding for you to create a startup. Discussions are over”

if you use macOS keyboard profiles to switch between qwerty and colemak be careful about updating or powering off. The lockscreen won’t tell you which layout you’re on. It said U.S. keyboard and I thought it meant qwerty. So I got my ass locked out…

Gotta love democratic bastion Florida

Florida passed the 60% amendment threshold approval in 2006 with only 57.78% of the vote.

While I wait for my Corne, been trying out Colemak-DH, I switched my Kinesis Freestyle 2 keys. I feel like I keep seeing different versions of DH online. Looking at the XCDVZ bottom left row… is this right? Very afraid of messing up my muscle memory
