Middle school classes start tonight! Upper elementary on Thursday! In this class, students will learn the basic building blocks of creative fiction writing. Together we will work on character sketches, layered settings, plot development, balancing narrative, dialogue and action, and much more.

Sometimes I wake up and my back hurts in a specific spot. In high stress times (like now) I psuedo monitor it bc is it something else? I almost never remember that I have a smidge of scoliosis…my sis and I laugh bc why do I keep forgetting that?

Watching solo mio then I was just crying. I went to Rome on my honeymoon and I was so young and excited about my life with that guy and then I forgot that my old anniversary would’ve been next week. I’m glad I got divorced but I just felt so much sadness for 25 yo me. No idea what was in store.

I turned in my assignment and it’s worth 25% of my grade. I really want an A in this class and right now I have an A- if I get all of my participation points and a high enough grade on this then I may still be able to do it but regardless, I did my best, worked really hard and I’m proud of myself!

I’m crying. My grandfather couldn’t read. My dad lived with his gma who was a sharecropper in rural NC. He cried when Obama won. Now me finishing my degree to become a librarian and watching the opening of this center…I cannot stop crying. 🥹

The more I find out about what people do at parties and these exclusive meetings the more I am grateful that I’ve never been popular and that I just stay at my house, eat my cake, drink my tea, read my books, and play my instruments and that those aren’t euphemisms for anything else.
