After 4 months of development time, I've finally wrapped up all the animations and coding for the female sprite. Now I have a system where I can add a ton of new clothing items, mix and match them, and have them all animate correctly. It... took a long time! All done with Godot's animationplayer.

Sometimes it's hard to post updates when visually, nothing much has changed. But the infrastructure looks like a highway to hell. Here's me animating a sitting pose for the character, and realizing "Wait, the top just looks off now." and overhauling the entire sprite system I came up with before.

Working on the titlescreen for Tailor Tales Cottina was a lot of fun! Godot makes it easy to animate 2D images without resorting to drawing each frame. Here we have the main character point her scissors at the options! Now I just need to make it snip when you click it 😁 #otome
