I quite like the result as I think it gives an enveloping feeling while still being dynamic! I also browsed a lot of eugene grasset's book "Plants and it's ornemental applications" which gave me a lot of ideas for all the plants you can see.

The background is inspired (as usual) by millefleur patterns from medieval tapestries, but I tried to arrange it differently by using a diamong shaped background to place de forms.

sometimes I get a little mad about my young self....maybe if I had drawn more when I was a kid I would not be struggling with basic anatomy today...But also I was really lazy about it so even if new me forced old me I would not have done it any better 🤭

Continuing my research for my Alsatian love story set in the 1920s/1930s 🙂 I'm still looking for a name for the brown-haired character. She's a werewolf who was taken in by Lisette a long time ago in her wolf form (probably injured by a trap in the forest?

Oh no! I requested a company to engrave these, I find lettering too challenging and complex for this :) To me the quality of the print was too important and the design would have been too different done by hand !

I'm not dead! Instead of drawing I got back into lino lately and decided to try fabric printing (for fun for once, since my day job is sucking the joy out of me). One kind of paint for now, on different fabrics and block materials - want to do a comparison once I try different paints!
