Hey @jaketapper.bsky.social & @cnn.com wondering when you’re going to launch the 24/7 News cycle about 47th POTUS and his obvious cognitive and physical decline or if we have to wait until the complete dictatorship? Jake we won’t be able to read the book because it will be censored by then.

18 Attorneys General from across the nation speaking out against the President’s abuse of power. The Trump Administration’s unlawful efforts to force federalized national guard forces and the U.S. military to patrol our streets is deeply alarming and cannot go unchecked.

“The president’s decision to federalize and deploy California’s National Guard without the consent of California state leaders is unlawful, unconstitutional, and undemocratic.

“The federal administration should be working with local leaders to keep everyone safe, not mobilizing the military against the American people.

“As the chief law enforcement officers of our states, we are proud to protect our communities and oppose violence in any form. We support Attorney General Bonta in his challenge to the Trump administration’s illegal conduct.

“We oppose any action from this administration that will sow chaos, inflame tensions, and put people’s lives at risk – including those of our law enforcement officers.”

Attorneys General of Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, and Vermont.

This treatment of a duly elected sitting senator is shameful and disrespectful. Using force to silence Senator Alex Padilla is unacceptable.

If this is how they treat sitting members of Congress, mayors, and judges—people simply trying to serve—how do you think they’ll treat you?!? This is deliberate. And it’s all about control and intimidation toward those who dare hold them accountable. Enough is enough. (2/2)

Thank you @padilla.senate.gov for doing EXACTLY what California elected you to do! Keep it up. This is the energy we need from the @democrats.org

Just a reminder for everyone freaking out about 45/47 saying he’s going to reopen Alcatraz… If the federal govt had honored the treaty w/ indigenous people & given that land back when they closed the prison - this discussion wouldn’t be happening now. No one is illegal on stolen land. Just sayin’.

It’s very important that everyone ensure that they have proved to the king that they accomplished their work last week by flooding the email address: hr@opm.gov Tormund did his part. He doesn’t want to get fired.

Reading Parable of the Talents now by Octavia E Butler. Found this passage relevant to our times. Actually this entire book is relevant to our dystopian reality. #booksky #booktok
