Function over form...alright. Now, have we enough tools to separate the wood from the metals?

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 01/05/2026

Oh, a master smith. Maybe I get the opportunity to meet her. I would appreciate that. *He chuckles* None of the weapons I have ever made were just simple ones. Well, we don't need to make the weapons flowery but some simple patterns here and there?

Yes, yes, all fine. Don't worry about me, cousin. Now to the weapons: Those are good weapons. Not to old and not too valuable. We can melt them. How many weapons are you planning to forge?

this very different Middle Earth he asks himself? He holds a dwarvish looking hammer in hands and decides not to give up yet and to try his best*

*He just nods and walks outside silently. While checking on the weapons he suddenly feels very lonely. He is a stranger now in Middle Earth he realises. Long lost friends have changed or are gone and of him the great elven smith he once has been is nothing left as it seems. Is he even useful for +

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 28/04/2026

*He is releived that he doesn't need to ask Maeglin anymore if he can help.* That is why I am here. I would like to help in the forge, forging weapons and such. So how do you start?

110 0

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 27/04/2026

*He pats Talions shoulder* Talion. I am an elf. A Noldor elf to be honest who is walking around in this world for so many centuries. We do not forget such skills.

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

*He looks at Talion surprised* Why do you think I cannot be a warrior again when it's needed?

120 0

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

Well and later in my life I learned a lot from the dwarves I had a good friendship with.

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

He was very ambitious. Once I had to work day and night alone in the forge until a set of Fëanorian lamps was finished and perfect. *He stops speaking for a moment because how Fëanor treated him sometimes had a huge impact on how he created the rings under the influence of Sauron in Eregion* +

Me? My grandfather Fëanor, my grandmother Nerdanel and Aulë when we visited him in Valinor when I was young. But mostly my grandfather. He saw my potential and as soon as I was able to hold a hammer in my hands I was welcome in his forge. He taught me to forge things perfectly. +

*He lifts his eyebrows. Having Eöl and Rôg to learn the same craftmanship must have been interesing.* I bet both of them worked very differently. I knew Rôg.

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

Well, I may be like the elf I have been before but I never want to be the victim of someone. I have always been one first of my family then of Sauron. I hope this time no one plays tricks with me. I am happy for you too, Talion. It seems like you found your stability and peace again.

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

So fate put everything into the right direction. You know, being back now I need to find out who I am. I think that needs time and I hope you all are a patient with me.

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

Yes, I remember. That was a mistake that cannot be forgiven I understand. Why do you ask?

120 0

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

Sure. What do you want to know, my friend?

110 0

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

Um, well not everyone likes one, isn't it so? We don't need to talk.

110 0

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

Oh, um, no. I am just wondering where did you learn to be a forger? Who was your master?

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

Shelob is a little baby spider?👀 I hope that's not a trick. What a world this is! *He laughs and shakes his head*

Well, I had a long time with Mandos to think about my life and it's tragedies. It seemed to help. You have changed as well, my friend but you still have a soft heart.

of his grandfather Fëanor who often prefered to work in his forge alone as well. He wondered if Maeglin is like his father Eol but now knowing him a bit he doesn't see in Maeglin what he knows about Eol. Although he hopes that they will get along not like their fathers who hated each other.*

*Celebrimbor just nods, takes the bucket and goes outside to the fountain to get water. He returns and dumps the water in the silver basin then watches Maeglin. Somehow the little forge (It is little compared to the forge in Eregion) and Maeglin being the only one working there reminds him +

*He remembers other things that have been created with that hammer as well and immediately stops touching it* We better keep it here. I think that hammer already had it great times and will be better a object to marvel at now. I remember! It feels like yesterday. Helping Mordor is all I can do now

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

*He hesitates and looks around for a second because he has not been in a forge for ages* Sure. *He walks over to the fountain*

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

*He nods and carefully strokes over the hammer with his finger* I am really glad you brought it here. Great things have been forged with that hammer. All of the silmaril my grandfather made with it.

Good morning cousin! I see you are already busy. I just wanted to see your forge. I have only heard good things about it.

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 24/04/2026

*He looks at the hammer with bright eyes. Old memories are floating trough his mind* Yes. This is it. This is my grandfathers, Feanors forging hammer. I didn't think I would ever see it again in this life.

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 24/04/2026

*He looks around while following Talion* This library looks amazing! Look at that handmade wooden shelves, beautifuly done. If it is Feanors hammer then it is more valuable than most of the things in Middle Earth.

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

*Chuckles* No, no rings. I am traumatised of rings. *He shows Talions his hands* See? No rings! Oh, it's a silver and golden hammer with ornates. May I take a look at it?

110 0

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

It does recognize me. Thank you for keeping it safe all those years, Talion my friend. *He smiles at the hammer* I promise to do only good stuff with it. I hope to find my grandfathers forging hammer again as well one day.

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

I don't know yet if my attitude about uruk has changed but Mordor might be the only home I can stay now being back in Middle Earth. So I want to try to help the people here. What is it do you have?

120 0

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

*Looking up to Talion* Well, I was just following my cousin Ereinion but as I am new here in Mordor I decided not to join the meeting directly. I was outside listening although.

*He was with cousin Ereinion when the message arrived so he quitely followed. But arriving at the house he decided to stay outside of them room where the meeting takes place. Still he listened and when he heard that the forges will be busy soon preparing weapons and such his heart skipped +

*He looks into her eyes in which he sees nothing of the evilness he saw in her fathers eyes years ago* Yes. When the elves lost all their hope I told them about the light that overcomes the darkness and not strength.

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 15/04/2026

The halls of Mandos are a place of perception indeed. Oh, I missed you too! *He says that but is really surprised that Ereinion missed him so much* You seem more relaxed now that back then.

Celebrimbor Telperinquar @celebrimborstea.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

*Suddenly turns around to look at Lliira with wide eyes* You. You are that light that overcomes darkness. Of course! You are a wonder Lliira. You are my living prophecy. *He smiles*
