Polluting projects like data centers will be easier to build and cost taxpayers up to $100 million per year. EJ communities joined the NO campaign because California cannot weaken environmental protections while Trump is attacking them. 🚫 Vote NO on Prop 45 to protect public health from pollution.

Limiting 90% of budget spending for federally qualified partners to direct patient care sounds good but community health centers say it could force cuts to their outreach and prevention work for their vulnerable patients. 🚫 Vote NO on Prop 44 to allow community clinics to manage their own budgets!

This proposition maintains the status quo of taxings stocks, bonds and business profits at the time of sale instead of taxing their current. So, if a billionaire never sells their assets then they are never taxed on their true wealth. 🚫 Vote NO on Prop 42 to allow taxes on true wealth!

Roughly 200 billionaires in California would be taxed on their wealth one-time to primarily fund state healthcare. Low-income California communities have seen healthcare funding impacted by cuts from Trump’s federal government. ✅ Vote YES on Prop 40 to fund medical care for low-income communities!

Many Californians, especially immigrant, low-income, and formerly incarcerated community members experience barriers to secure government-issued ID that Prop 39 would require to vote? Voter fraud is not a real issue but this ballot measure is. 🚫 Vote NO on Prop 39 to prevent voter suppression!

California is facing an affordability crisis while utilities post major profits, says Travis Gibrael of Reclaim Our Power at the Affordable Energy Campaign event outside PG&E headquarters. It’s time to reform our “structurally fundamentally unsustainable and unjust” system.

Environmental justice does not exist in isolation. CEJA stands in solidarity with immigrant communities demanding an end to ICE raids and detention, a permanent ceasefire, and an end to U.S. support for violence and genocide abroad. A just future requires defending our communities’ right to exist.
Dark text on an orange background. The header reads "STATEMENT OF SOLIDARITY: Beyond our Scope, but Deeply Present."

The body text reads:
"While CEJA focuses on environmental justice, numerous ongoing movements align with our overall goal of creating a just future for everyone. Vulnerable communities are under attack within California and throughout the world.

CEJA unequivocally supports an embargo of weapons and ammunition to Israel and calls for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. We cannot abide genocide anywhere in our world to have an equitable and just future.

CEJA stands in full solidarity with immigrant communities and calls for the end of all ICE raids and for the immediate release of all detainees. Environmental justice means fighting for our communities’ right to exist — free from fossil fuel pollution and militarized policing.

To all of the other movements on the frontlines of protecting fundamental human rights — our trans and queer siblings, accessibility advocates, defenders of the free press, and many more — we see you. We stand with you in this fight for a just future for all."

Beneath it, a white banner reads: CEJA and CEJA Action’s

On its 13th anniversary, we remember the #Chevron #Richmond Refinery Fire and the 15,000+ people it sent to doctors and hospitals. A settlement of $5 million for this fire, followed by another for broader harms at $550 million, is just the start of the accountability for #BigOil that we deserve.

Happy #Juneteenth! We're celebrating but we all still know racial injustice is far from over. Racist land use policies and white supremacy brought us to a world where Black and brown neighborhoods across the US are disproportionately enduring the health impacts of pollution and the fight continues!

What we know: Fossil fuel & utility pollution fueled the LA fires and billions in damages. Californians are paying the price while polluters profit. What we need: BOLD ACTION—hold them accountable. #MakePollutersPay. Full page ad in the SacBee calls on CA Lawmakers and Governor Newsom to lead.
A full-page advertisement shows an image of the wildfires in LA and text overlaid that reads: "Climate change is costing us. Polluters need to pay their fair share for creating this crisis. We can't afford anything less. Legislators and Governor: Deliver corporate polluter and utility accountability this year."
