This doesn't sound right to me. From what I've come to understand, most people hide who they are when they are with other people. The online space allows them to be exactly who they are. They can relax in that anonymity when they open that door to their home.

Got a text from Amber from halfway around the world about a fun coincidence/alignment/synchronicity midday yesterday. Then, in the evening, as I was watching a video, I heard the woman say, “was the 15th of September,” so I also experienced something out of the ordinary the same day.

Tightly cropped screenshot of man with head on pillow, with closed-caption text that reads, "much the day had his operation was the 15th of September."

I posted a powerful paragraph from the book below asking if anyone recognized it: Earth Abides George R. Stewart 1949 When I looked at the pub date, I decided to review the Fair Use Act. It seems like authors/publishers really want to limit what people share, so I deleted it. 😔 #WritingCommunity

Are we born into the right era or is the right era borne into us? I can't believe how deeply Eric Burdon's work dwells in the center of my being. I've been listening to his songs since I stumbled onto his version of "House of the Rising Sun," and I can't get over it.

In his 2021 article, “The Rise and Fall and Rise of Growth Mindset,” Watson explained that the growth mindset isn’t something that can be guaranteed, but it’s still something to strive for. Why can’t we tell people about the growth mindset and, voilà, people are excited about learning new things?

Dweck focused on the application of her concept in school systems, sports, business, and relationships, so, at first, I didn’t think I was going to find an answer to my question. But it wasn’t addressed under one subject heading. It was in the accumulation of her observations.

They need to start moving people out of northern Venezuela ASAP. They needed to start last week. Why isn't this already happening? Why aren't we hearing about arrangements the U.S. is making for refugees?

Some women give so much to others and deserve to share this day with women who do the same for their children. I know there are friendship days, but many women deserve this special kind of recognition because of how much they give. #AmazingWomanFriendDay Sent to a friend:

I see there is are a couple of Friendship Days, but no day to say "You are an Amazing Woman/Friend," so I think we should do both Mother's Day and Amazing Woman/Friend Day on the same day.

I hope you are able to find a way to enjoy your day!
