made it to 4th out of 9 at local monthly today for sf6! still had really bad jitters and anxiety but i’m proud of my play today. lost to a Ultimate Master as a Diamond 1 today and took a set off of him to boot! :>

@bsky.app don’t love this UI change, moving the share/save media into a menu as opposed to the former 2 pill buttons at the bottom of the screen — much harder to reach and now buried under 2 interactions.

i was playing black, i now understand why white komi (score bonus for playing second) is 7.5 😭 the .5 really matters!

9 by 9 go board, filled with pieces and scored. black, which went first on the center piece, takes the center half of the board, from a1 to j5, with one white piece at a5. white takes the whole upper half of the board

the score reads “white wins by 0.5 points”

white claiming that one space at a5 lost black the game!!!
