Writing is has been a challenge this week. Between the weather, the news, and the concern over whether I am working on the right story, I honestly feel stuck. I've been working on a nonfiction project I am very excited about, but I need work on some fiction to soothe my soul.

I am excited to start sharing my personal project, When Giants Walked with you all. This is a gothic cozy fantasy world that I am going to be sharing stories in as a playground to restore my creativity. #cozyfantasy open.substack.com/pu...

I was cleaning up some old folders and found this meme I made back when the Obi-wan series came out. I feel this even more today than I did then. #nonbinarypride #nonbinarymood #nonbinary #lgbt

I saw this going around and wondered who was in my skyrcle and I am surprised and not about who I have interacted with most.

Post a PERFECT album from the 90's that isn't Nirvana or Pearl Jam Washingmachine Mouth by Pigface is one of those albums that anytime I play one song from it, I have to listen to the whole album. This one changed the my taste in music forever. Perfection. "Flowers are Evil" might be an easy in.

An Album cover with Teeth in a votrex with Washingmachine Mouth at the bottom and Pigface at the top

I've been thinking about starting to stream again, but I am not sure what to do. I miss the game streams, but... I miss the writing streams, but... I miss the chat streams, but... I don't know what I want to do. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Volunteers?

I don't even know how to resopond to this comment on one of my old videos... So employing racist tropes and characatures of black people and Arabs is ok if you also are afraid of hill folk and women? Is that what they are saying? What? Racism is racism even with sexism and classism at play. ugh

Lovecraft was NOT a racist.
I say this to keep actual racism in its place.
Lovecraft was terrified of EVERYTHING. This included people. If a minority group thinks Lovecraft hated their group, take a look at how he regarded those very White Appalachians.

I've noticed that my most popular posts are the more personal ones. In some ways, it makes me feel less alone, but it also makes fear that I need to over share to be seen. I am going to be honest, but everything will not be online. I do miss the #personalweb though.

In trying to talk myself into writing today, I made a poster for the project. That counts, right?
