Decomposing landscape (1) Markers on school notebook page 21x16 cm I have plans for this landscape I captured a few days ago. Maybe something with yarn, or a pastel painting, or a carpet. We shall see... #paintingstudy #pixelart #landscape #natureart #naturereserve #markers #Holland #winterlight

Pixel version of the photo that follows. Colours are way brighter than in the photo and the composition doesn't perfectly match the dispositions of items in the real landscape. Very subjective rendition.

Picture of a local landscape of a wetland. The landscape appears almost stopped. From bottom to top: a stroke of green grass, a stroke of blue canal water with brown reflection of the reeds, then ocre reeds, then a stroke of purplish shadow, followed by a stroke of orangey light, then olive green and mason trees and a bright pale blue sky.

A #LoopStitch bedside mat in the making. Too bad chenille yarn feels heavenly but it's actually made in hell (100% polyester=plastic & shedding a lot of fibers=micro plastics). Vaguely impressionist style painting, with dominant blue and green tones, of a Parisian bridge on the river (Seine). The water and bridge are in the foreground, the archs sustaining the bridge and a long boat passing by occupy the middle ground. In the background greenery and sparse houses.
