I'm so lucky I've never had anything serious happen but the most harrowing experience I've had is probably when my moped's front wheel hub shattered while I was riding it. I somehow managed not to get thrown over the handlebars. Detroit potholes are ROUGH lol

While I was on my way home to check if I had power or not, I saw SO MANY little "fewer than 5" indicators all up and down each street in my neighborhood. It's comical how bad they are at this.

The only changes he made to the basement were coating every surface in paint and remove the washers and dryers (plural) that didn't work. You can even see the backsplash of the floor paint on the bottom of every wall and pillar. Even the furnace got painted lol

I found out a couple weeks ago that the house our slumlord evicted us from a couple years ago recently sold for $265,000 (it was and is not worth this much). He slapped a coat of paint on the walls in the basement and the new owner is probably going to find out tonight that the foundation leaks.
