I can’t believe they are actually adding hard mode and the ability to start over with an existing character. It’s basically just like DD1 now. I wanted this back in 2023, but I will *Happily* take it now. Hard Mode is appropriate for NG+ boosts in difficulty/XP to grind to 200 cap. 🫡🫡🫡

20+ years ago I made and printed out this sheet and stuck it in my FFX strategy guide so I could always build my favorite Blitzball team. It’s still untouched as the deepest time sink game in a game for my by miles.

Y’all I loved Blitzball so much I made and printed out a list of my dream team and put it in my guide so anytime I played I could build an unstoppable team. #FFX #FinalFantasy

What a legend! Today @pms-jordan.bsky.social extended her stream today so I could get Roach Horse Armor. My roach couldn’t look better now, and has not endured the abuse I now know Jordan puts her Roach through. Thanks for such a fun time!

There is so much to say, but all I will say for now is this game is definitely my bag, baby. The setup for the sequel is hype overload moment for me on par with end of Lies of P’s tease. #BloodOfDawnWalker

Any first-timers wanna playthrough Bloodborne second half of October with a long-timer for some jolly cooperation and fun? Particularly interested in helping those who feel intimidated by the game or genre and would love a coop experience for their first souls. But any takers welcome!

Only new game I bought this September was Blood of Dawnwalker because I wanted this studio to succeed after reading this in game informer:

But regardless of how successful The Blood of Dawn-walker is - and what we saw shows a lot of promise for success - Konrad Tomaszkiewicz wants to keep the Rebel Wolves size manageable to avoid the pitfalls of his past life at a studio with a ballooning team size.
"It is really important that we don't want to grow," he says. "We want to stay as we are, even if The Blood of Dawnwalker will be a great success and we can afford to expand, we don't want to do that because we want to have fun and we want to work as we work right now. Our mission is to deliver great games and hopefully doing milestones in the industry, in the RPG genre, instead of creating a big company in which you earn a lot, but it's not as much fun as it could be."

Thanks! Yeah it's a hard thing to balance successfully I think. Also it must suck to create a load of great content, knowing that most of the players will never experience half of it
By the way happy Trails and Fire Emblem day ® must've been a hard choice on what to go for first?

The one lost book that could transform society for the better by removing much of the damage justified by its absence. This is a deep fucking joke, folks.

So working at a gaming company focused on capitalism’s promised fruit (GROWTH) is not as fun as a working at a small one focused on making games they love.

Text from game informer interview with Rebel Wolves development team: “But regardless of how successful The Blood of Dawn-walker is - and what we saw shows a lot of promise for success - Konrad Tomaszkiewicz wants to keep the Rebel Wolves size manageable to avoid the pitfalls of his past life at a studio with a ballooning team size.

One more Nioh 3 combat video for the night. This is me solo on an Enlightened (NG++) picture scroll that makes you face Hiruko (final boss of base game) and then immediately fight the Bloodedge Demon (open world boss with all the red graves around it). My build isn’t perfect yet, but it’s a W

Some Nioh 3 DLC combat videos! First up is a co-op session I joined where 3 of us take down the final boss of the DLC on NG++ (Enlightened in Nioh Speak). We throw everything at him cause we are underleveled. We interrupt him very well so he looks more boring than he really is as well.

I’ve got lots left to do to get my build topped off and ready for the next DLC. Probably 2/3rds of the way done with DLC 1. NG++ is finished on all levels (base+DLC). Trophies done. Will be posting some videos of melting these NG++ and DLC boss fights soon. Churn & Burn baby, Churn & Burn.

Nioh 3 all trophies acquired 64/64 - including 13/13 from new Hell Rising DLC

Got my first stupidly OP Picture Scroll. All Starred stats + my preferred set bonus. Just need 150 points in Stamina and points in Magic to use it. Cap is 500 right now I think (seen 457). May try to reroll stamina, may not. It’s a lot of levels until makes me godlike. I’m level 300 now.

I forgot I had a pic of the lock vendor and how he restocks, but here it is. He is in a late area of the DLC at the home of one of your allies. Note the “waiting for restock” text. There is a cost, I can farm the six tears needed to purchase when restocked in about 5 minutes w/a level 40 mission

Picture Scrolls were added to Nioh 3 last week. Like in previous titles. These act as both a mini leve and an accessory you can equip after completing. You can run them multiple times for a chance to reroll stats and improve them for your build. They add incredible new buffs like shown here:

A screen shot of an equipped picture scroll in Nioh 3. It gives ranged damage bonus, untouched elixers bonus, huge luck bonus, dual mastery (common) bonus, and a grace of Hotei bonus

A description of “unfinished grace” bonus in a picture scroll indicating it needs to be run more times to add even more bonuses to it.

A picture with a description of dual mastery (common) bonus that reads: • Melee Damage
Dual Mastery (Common)
Allows you to activate two Common Skill
Masteries simultaneously.
: Has a particularly special or strong
effect compared to normal.
• : "Other" category effect.

The first time I discovered a sex scene in a video game was this classic! I was so scared my dad would walk in the room and some how figure out I’d actually pursued a quest that led to this outcome, though I didn’t know it would - I certainly *hoped* it would (I was like 13).

The distinct shape and size of Sierra Games boxes in the VGA era was so 🥵 Maybe they were too big in hindsight, but they looked so nice lined up on the shelf and felt like pulling a book down when I grabbed one.

Not my photo- a wooden bookshelf with three shelves, each filled with Sierra and similar PC game boxes. King’s Quest, Quest for Glory, Hoyle, and others can be seen.
