ProFed supports FEP-c0e0, Pleroma and Misskey for federating emoji reactions - one emoji per user. For Mastodon, a reaction falls back to a like. Unlike Mastodon, ProFed shares the full reaction collection on request, not just a count. 2/4

Systems like Mastodon that don't support general reactions get the reaction count as a like count instead - not a perfect fit, but the best way to give most users on most systems a reasonable experience. A few other bugs turned up along the way and got fixed too. 2/3
