Some example Smart Actions that I use. The quick action is likely my favorite. Speeds me up.

A family member is giving away this Robertson Meteorite (such a cool name) enlarger. If you’re anywhere near northeastern Pennsylvania and want it please let me know.

I'm digging the editing workflow in the @aphera beta. This was my first time using the app and I was able to find my way pretty quickly. Here are three quick example edits; two from Virgina and one from Oregon. #photography

EOL for iWork 14.x I just updated to Numbers, Keynote, and Pages 14.5 and when opening them on Sequoia I see this. Is this a prod to update to Tahoe? cc @macstories

Seeing these two posts on Threads stacked one on top of the other is 👨‍🍳 💋 👌 cc @marcoarment who must be dancing in the dunes on Fire Island (which is not part of Long Island, I hear).

Example: I wrote one blog post and used SSP's “Export Changes” feature which is supposed to only export the files that changed. Over 18 minutes. But, even if it were going to regenerate every single page and feed, it should take seconds not minutes.

A screenshot of Simply Static Pro’s Activity Log showing that the process took over 18 minutes and processed over 20,000 files.

🚀 Signboard 0.4.0 adds due dates to cards. It also lays the foundation for just about any card metadata (such as labels). 🔗 github.com/cdevroe/signboard/releas… #OpenSource #kanban

Signboard is now available for Linux (in addition to macOS and Windows). Here it is running on Arch / #Omarchy Thanks to everyone that has installed the app despite its newness. I'm building this very slowly and for me (I love kanban!) but am thankful […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

Signboard 0.3.1 is now available. It includes a new card note editor (thanks to OverType) with custom themes for light and dark mode. This update means Signboard cards now support lists, checklists, links, headings, etc. And, clicking the card ID will open […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

Yesterday I made Signboard public on GitHub. Signboard is a new MIT licensed open source kanban app that writes Markdown files locally on disk. It is very early (there isn't even an icon yet) and lots to do. I'll write more on my blog about Signboard on […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

Cool personal website from Toni Lijic @tl - They even keep a running list of people they'd like to meet (though, I'm inexplicably absent from the list). I can probably arrange a meeting with a fair number of them. via @swissmiss 🔗 www.toni.li/about

It was nice to catch a faint glimpse of the aurora in our area last night. Long exposures help to see what is happening more than the naked eye. If you ever want to see a truly magical light show without the need of long exposure - head to Iceland in the […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

The mirrored tomb of architect Hugh Newell Jacobsen near Delaplane, Virginia. I exposed a few frames of film here as well but I likely won’t develop the rolls for a bit. This one was shot on iPhone 12 Pro Max using @halide’s Process Zero (which I’m loving).
