One of the sweetest, kindest humanitarians and legends to ever grace this earth passed away at 80. My little honorary niece, Roni ,received a free book once a month from Dolly's book club. Friend John Behlmann will play Dolly's husband, Carl, in her musical DOLLY, opening on Broadway in the Spring.

I just experienced Christopher Nolan's THE ODYSSEY in its intended 70mm IMAX format. The production is a magnificent achievement in filmmaking. The scope and breadth of this film is incomparable. What surprised and impressed me the most is the brilliant storytelling.

The highly anticipated "Yellowstone" sequel "Dutton Ranch" has premiered on Paramount+. The real surprise is the first rate supporting cast including Ed Harris and Annette Bening. The new series is set in Texas, not Montana, and it just might be worthy of its Yellowstone past.

"Yellowstone's" Taylor Sheridan has written a new limited series. Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell lead a perfect cast of New Yorkers and Montanans. "The Madison" takes your heart and wrings it out mostly because of Pfeiffer's career-defining performance.

Guillermo del Toro's new take on the classic tale of Frankenstein is brilliant filmmaking. The film is often hard to watch but never fails to mesmerize. Jacob Elordi and Oscar Isaac give astounding performances. Just a hint, you probably won't want snacks.
