I’m not suggesting people shouldn’t vote but I think it’s harsh to critique people being indifferent when they have no alternative or no party really offering change.

During this time we’ve had both major parties in power and still nothing has really changed. Yes Labour have been a bit more liberal in their social policies but ultimately they’ve just carried on with the same economic policies as the Tory party. I suspect the US is the same.

I can only speak for the UK where over the last 20 years living standards have decreased year on year. Our infrastructure has has been sold off or underfunded over the last 50 years leading to many of our essential services on the brink of collapse.

When you have a system that offers controlled opposition, meaning that no matter who gains power nothing substantially changes, the people become disillusioned with the system. The US,like the UK,offers no real alternatives to the status quo.

The ability of politicians and media commentators to rewrite even very recent history is something to behold - even when the actual receipts are everywhere. As Saul says, destroying Corbyn was the main priority, inside and outside the Labour Party.

I predicted before the last election that Labour didn’t have the vision and balls to radically change our society and economy. That they would be doomed to fail and would ultimately usher in the far right in the guise of Reform. I’ve seen nothing to make me change my mind.

Enough chances to win the game but in reality a draw was probably about right. Emery has got a lot of work to do to get this current squad up to the standards he demands.

Andy Burnham is just Tony Blair. Big promises, carefully planned speeches, lots of hot air. While behind the scenes everything continues on exactly as Margaret Thatcher started in 1979.

It was a poor team performance all round tbf. I can take losing but to give goals away and lose control is difficult to swallow but in the immortal words of the bespectacled Scot “we go again” As regards Ollie,he and anyone else, who doesn’t want to be with us can frankly f**k off.

The result of Centrism is Fascism. They do nothing to undo the changes that the Right Wing parties make. While they fight the Left Wing parties even harder than the Fascists because the Left Wing might make them pay more tax. Don't support the Centrist drivel.

The Left (the many) have always been at war with the Right (the rich few). They have just successfully convinced too many people on the Left that they can't fight because fighting is bad. So instead you'll just have to accept their tyranny forever.

Government bonds are hard to understand, but not that hard, and most of the mystery is spread by the City, which wants to use them as a weapon to deny you what you need from the government. I wrote this infographic. AI drew it, directed by me.

This one is important because MMT is. I used AI, among other tools, when creating this post. I also used a word processor and about 50 years of experience writing about these issues. Drawing the infographic was the smallest part, and I had no budget to do it any other way.

Israel is the definition of a settler colony. It was built on land that Britain had no right to give away or sell. Israel was also founded on terrorism and ethnic cleansing.

Let’s not forget how UEFA has turned the premier European trophy from a tournament for league champions into a tournament that you can win if you finish 4th in the league. They are as guilty as FIFA of rinsing the sport, and us its supporters,of as much money as they can.

Andy Burnham previously called for “aspirational socialism“. Before becoming PM he said for water industry: “Public ownership is absolutely an option ... I would say for Thames Water, that is what should be done.” After becoming PM, it is ‘more public control’. Test coming soon.

Andy Burnham can’t transform the country while sticking to the current fiscal rules
Sticking to the 2024 election manifesto and fiscal rules will make it harder for him to deliver the headline promises and the change that he has paraded.

I’m not an advocate of bloody revolution because,as in all conflicts,it’s the poor who suffer the most, however we’re getting to the point where massive change is inevitable. Unfortunately I believe the change will be fascist and will do little alleviate the suffering of the working classes.

The way to stop Farage is give those in the poorest and most disenfranchised areas hope and tangible benefits for voting a certain way. At the minute Labour have offered nothing more than a sticking plaster. Have we still not learnt the lessons of Brexit?
