The Center for Popular Music is honored to receive the collection of Stanley Booth from his daughter, Ruby Booth. A Memphis writer & journalist, Booth is best known for “Rythm Oil,” “The True Adventures of the Rolling Stones,” etc…manuscripts, notebooks, photographs, recordings, & other materials.

MTSU Recording Industry Dep’t “Living in James Brown’s America” class opened “Mr Dynamite: The Legacy of James Brown” exhibition at the CPM w/ a welcome video from "Bootsy" Collins. The students curated, designed, & marketed the exhibition with artifacts from King Records Legacy and the Center.
