One of my recollections from a 43 year career in I. T. is that computers need electricity to operate. AI runs on computers. So if there was ever a danger that AI could cause serious mischief, why not just pull the plug ? #JustPullThePlug

anybody who STILL thinks they're going to get any free money from this administration needs to have their head examined, and it needs to be a deep and long examination

it has taken so many of them, over time, to declare that this administration is the most 'transparent' in US history, that it is quite clear that it is actually the LEAST transparent administration in US history. because, if it was really so transparent, it would be unnecessary to say so ad nauseum

@ms.now .... yes Michael, he does everything unilaterally, so how could Republicans get the blame ??

@cnbc.com .. fed can't raise rates because somebody who wants rates to go down by a lot would go completely bonkers - now the inability of the fed to address an increasing inflation risk because they can't raise rates is affecting the economy in major ways - all because of one misguided 3rd grader
000
not_naming_names @cd-eps.bsky.social · 29/07/2026
@cnbc.com ... do all of you on the program understand that there is no way he is going to raise rates as long as he answers to that guy in the white house ? it will never happen. if he raised rates, the scream that would come from the white house would be impossible to ignore.

@cnbc.com ... why are you refusing to directly address the causes for the current market meltdown - the misguided policies and unhinged antics of the leader of the current administration in the capitol. confidence in government is at an all time low

there should be a counter-message after this speech, like they do for the SOTU - line up the lies and knock them down immediately

@cnbc.com ... your exelon guest wants to continue relying on fossil fuel until the 'administration' makes greater progress on alternatives, however the current 'administration' is shutting the door on wind, solar and all manner of clean energy alternatives so it sounds like an impasse

it is unheard of that the 'red card' suspension be lifted for this one occasion, when it has been understood for decades at every level, club to tournament and pro, that a red card means leaving that game and suspended for the next. this is a stain on the US which was just getting better at the game
000
not_naming_names @cd-eps.bsky.social · 06/07/2026
this is corruption, no doubt. there are only 2 reasons why someone who knows nothing about football would interfere with the red card decision in this way: - he believes the action will benefit him politically - he stands to make money if the carded player plays . this will hurt US soccer for years

@cnbc.com ... OK, so a 'Golden Age' ? that's what he said, but a golden age for whom ? billionaires ? so you stop him right there and say, sir please explain how it's a golden age, and he says ' Well, look at the stock market ...' you interrupt and say 'what about the 75 % who don't own any stock' ?

@cnbc.com --- not good enough (D-) Joe just sat there while this president both stretched the truth into some unrecognizable object and also told numerous outright lies. failed to challenge him on these and everyone could see it. interviews like this are worthless with a self-serving truth dodger
000
not_naming_names @cd-eps.bsky.social · 02/07/2026
@cnbc.com .... hey Joe - remember everybody is watching. If you let him lie like a rug and don't challenge it, if you do nothing but toss him softballs and let him rant on and on about some unimportant mythical achievement that interests nobody, then you will have failed miserably in America's eyes
000
not_naming_names @cd-eps.bsky.social · 01/07/2026
@cnbc.com ... so when Joe Kernan gets his exclusive interview with this president is he going to sit there while he lies, or is he going to call him out on his lies ? because if he doesn't call him out on his lies (and we all KNOW he's going to lie) then this interview isn't going to be worth much

@ms.now .... vance was born years after Watergate, I wouldn't trust him to know anything about it for that reason alone (it wasn't the 'deep state') but there are lots of other reasons to pay no heed to anything he says about it

not_naming_names @cd-eps.bsky.social · 26/06/2026
@cnbc.com ... No, it's not a diplomatic flare -up ... it's the unhinged rantings of a mad man who has no business being president ! Stop finding ways to defend his craziness, he is a clear and present danger to the world economy.

‪trying to claim his statement that he 'loved the inflation' was taken out of context. . the context was inflation. he had just been asked about inflation . you can't claim a statement was taken out of context when the statement falls within the context . they think we're really stupid don't they

@cnbc.com .... 'trickle down' economies do not work, they never worked. it's a sham promoted by the rich who are too greedy to let anything trickle down. what DOES work is 'bubble up' economy. when those at the poverty line have more money, they spend it at companies mainly owned by the rich

@cnbc.com it's a great note of irony here, that he wants the new fed chair to immediately lower interest rates 'significantly', however the reason that is not warranted right now is because of the inflation which has been driven higher as a result of his policies, his tariffs and his ill-advised war

@cnbc.com .. show me the two people who actually believe he wants the new fed chair to be 'totally independent' .. there is nothing he doesn't want to be in control of and the pressure he is going to bring on this guy to cut rates will be enormous but it isn't justified in any way right now

priorities for the many, vs priorities for the very few - this administration clearly favors the few. so if you are reading this, be advised that you will never, under any reason or circumstance, set foot for even one short second in that ballroom

@cnbc.com .... the stock doing well today (for purely finance-related reasons) well it certainly isn't about good pizza, papa john's is the worst pizza out of all the big chains, and it is by far the worst pizza I personally have ever had, and that's the opinion of a new york born pizza lover

memo to the VP - when the time comes that we don't know if the president means what he says, then we will all be in much worse trouble than we are now. the things this administration thinks it can make us believe are just incredible. we're not idiots.

democrats took the heat for all manner of republican't complaints when President Biden was in office. and now, republican'ts control the house, senate and white house, so blaming democrats for everything wrong now is a pathetic sign of weakness. grow a pair and accept responsibility for the chaos

everything mike johnson is complaining about right now has happened because of republican'ts. the house, senate and white house are all in the control of republican'ts. it is their responsibility to fix things.
