Not sure. I thought it was very effective. biweekly quizzes might be helpful to incentivize pepople to study the concepts more and review.

Slightly more context when introducing new concepts or when making references to old concepts or concepts outside the scope of the class to help illustrate points. Those seemed to be more relevant to some students than others.
Give students a bit more information on how each lecture is going to be structured, for example, maybe a quick slide deck at the start of each lecture or a roadmap that described the topic of the lectures. I think I would have learned more effectively if the goal of each lecture was more clearly defined to the students.
