This was one of the more interesting items - an eBay-branded View Master, including a reel depicting the first national eBay television ad. All of this leads me to wonder -- how much could I get for selling this on Amazon?

Years ago, I worked for eBay. No, I wasn't posting Beanie Babies for sale in my pajamas. The actual company working in customer support. Part of the job was, as best as I can tell, maintaining a personal inventory of eBay branded tchotchkes. #ebay #tchotchkes #viewmaster #3D #threedimensional

I forget where I bought this postcard, but I mailed it straight to her. Despite her screen name, she was always Betty to friends and loved ones.

During the years when her film wirk became more sporadic, she found a new career on Broadway. Rediscovered as film fans became directors, Bacall made many returns to the screen, including an Oscar-nominated turn in Streisand's THE MIRROR HAS TWO FACES.

Her sultry voice and look and chemistry opposite Bogart reportedly caused rowdy reactions among servicemen at screenings. While she starred in many films on her own, Hollywood largely abandoned her after Bogart's death in 1957.

At the age of 19, she starred opposite the man she would eventually marry, Humphrey Bogart, in TO HAVE AND HAVE NOT (1944). Together, they made three more films, THE BIG SLEEP (1946), DARK PASSAGE (1947), and KEY LARGO (1948), each of which helped cement her in Hollywood history.

Cover by the great DC humor artist Bob Oskner. Angel O'Day and Sam Simeon were a detective duo created by E. Nelson Bridwell for a title called "Showcase" a few months earlier. They ran through to the end of 1969 and get revived from time to time.

No face in a comic has ever delighted me as much as little Elias’s face at the bottom of this panel. I love his wild-eyed joy that Diablo the luchador is going to be his new dad. Jaime Hernandez Love & Rockets v1 #50 1996.

In 2020, Lehrer released all of his music and lyrics into the public domain. At 95, he remains a titan of musical comedy in the United States.

This was Lehrer's last album before his retirement from performing (which he occasionally relented from, when the mood struck him) and he started teaching mathematics at UC Santa Cruz, where he was known for performing for students.

Tracey Ullman (b. 1959) is an actress on stage and screen, a singer and recording artist, and, oh yeah, inadvertently caused THE SIMPSONS to come into being. She is one of the funniest people alive.

The Masked Rider is an excellent example of the sort of Wild West of Quasi-Plagiarism went on in 1939. Well... at least it wasn't A.I.!

Another character from Marvel Comics #1, the Masked Rider. You see this sort of thing often in the early comic books. While the books had all new comics, they weren't necessarily all new ideas.
