Woke up to see this video my buddy sent me. Honestly can't even say I'm surprised. American politics this year is just about the worst politicians who deliver nothing screeching about socialism and minorities. Any progressive that wants to offer actual policies gets demonized. What a dumb country.

Hopefully Abdul keeps this victory as the counting wraps up. It's ridiculous that it was this close to begin with. Meanwhile, maybe there's a lesson that the democratic party can learn here regarding how more people came out for Abdul than Kamala in Dearborn in an off year primary.

Well now that they've updated the patch notes for #PathOfExile, I can confirm that my divination card will redeem for a random Astrolabe. I will miss rare synthesis items. I always enjoyed them. This new reward will be a much less interesting gamble, but far more available. (I hope)

After Senator Hassan's vote against Bernie's resolution to block the sales of assault rifles to Israel and her ridiculous AIPAC talking point filled statement defending her vote, I wrote to her, criticizing the vote and statement. It took her office 2 weeks to just copy and paste it back at me.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza long ago crossed a crisis point and is both horrifying and outrageous. I voted against today’s joint resolutions because blocking these arms sales would not end the starvation but would embolden Hamas and undermine Israel’s security. Yet while I remain steadfast in my support for Israel’s right to defend itself, I also strongly believe that Israel can and must do more, now, to end the suffering in Gaza. All parties, including the United States, must focus on working together to get food into Gaza as the most urgent priority, and then to reach a negotiated ceasefire that returns the hostages, ramps up humanitarian aid, ends Hamas’s reign of terror, and puts an end to this war. That is the only way we can build a future where the Israeli and Palestinian people live together, side-by-side, in peace.

Elon has his Twitter guys rework Grok to do some propaganda campaign on behalf of the Afrikaners. It has resulted in Grok bringing up the topic out of nowhere repeatedly, which is hopefully getting more people aware of this whole thing when they Google it out of confusion. Too fucking funny.

This whole year has been a series of progressives telling the party where it needs to go while they fight it every step of the way. If they want to keep trying Diet/Zero Sugar Republicanism, it shouldn't be shocking that voters are just going to abandon them for the original blend or not vote.

“The progressive wing of the party has to recognize — we all have to recognize — the country’s not progressive, and not to the far left or the far right.
