If the US calculated poverty as EU does then we are worse off the Bulgaria, poorest nation in EU.
The have 21% poverty with 3% severe poverty.
Using same calculation the US has 34% poverty with 11 % in severe poverty.
They are hiding poverty by using an absurd calculation, cost of food x3!
