🎉 This New Year’s Eve, we’re celebrating some big wins from 2025: we launched our union, won recognition, and started contract negotiations! Huge thanks to all our supporters and collaborators. 💛 Can’t wait to hit the ground running in 2026!

In 2025, City Bureau Workers formed the CB Workers Guild, won voluntary recognition, and started negotiating our first contract to sustain our mission and values.

The labor local media workers do, keeping community members informed and holding politicians accountable, is essential. All workers deserve to collectively bargain with their employers and weigh in on important decisions that affect them. A union is crucial to protecting these rights.
