I am a new fan of the Laurel Pride fest. I made a new friend:

A native Blue Mist Flower. Up close, the little flowers are very defined (and purple!) but I got artsy with the photo, so the long stem and leaves are blurry green. It's posed on my truck floor mat.

I am incredibly proud of my first mixed media art ❤️

Mixed media tray - the tray is wood and spray-painted navy blue. There are two origami doves facing each other: one is blue and one is rainbow circles. I used a lot of scraps from scrapbooking - sepia-toned yellow flowers, and red flowers and a sepia-toned map. There are also scraps of my first manuscript.

Sakura season in the Tidal Basin

Little Stumpy at the DC Tidal Basin doing their best to keep on blooming. Stumpy's core is rotted almost all the way through, and they only have maybe one real branch, but they blossom every year. After this season, they are being torn down
