The YT algorithm once again proves that it understands me like no one else on this planet does. Yes, I am in fact interested in a 500-subscriber channel with 30-minute videos on topics like regional differences in weather semiotics and soap ergonomics.

Screenshot from the youtube app of the tiny KhankChannel channel, showing its bizarre output. The first half-an-hour long video shows signs of already being halfway watched.

#TidyTuesday This week the subject is 'Customs and Border Protection' data from the US. What caught my eye was the 'Other' label in the context of nationalities and whom the data chose to pull into the spotlight by not granting them its anonymity. Code: github.com/Blappchri/my... #DataViz #RStats

A barplot of US border encounters split by countries and the border zone. Latin America is well-represented and there is a big pile of 'Other', but some other countries that get singled out are head-scratchers

My first #TidyTuesday on BS. Once again, I ended up with an awkwardly big figure. I am proud of what I selected to highlight within this week's subject. How a country picks their ISO is a fun, mildly interesting question you wouldn't think about unprompted. Code: github.com/Blappchri/my...

A big figure with an awkward amount of information and text. The general gist is that it depicts how a countries name relates to their 3-letter ISO code.
