10 years of ESCI = 59 projects and 237.5 combined project-years. The average project runs for 48.3 months, with timelines ranging from 26 to 72 months. Different schemes, topics and consortia have made for a pretty good decade of learning how to communicate science. 🔬 #SciComm

New joint white paper🌿 Bringing together science, policy insights, and practical lessons from wetlands projects across Europe. Four priorities for action! Read the white paper here: www.wethorizons.eu/resources/#p...
Infographic card with a white background and a wetland landscape photograph across the top — lush green reeds and open water under a blue sky. Below the photo, four circular teal icons represent four numbered priorities: 1. Improving policy coherence across sectors; 2. Mobilising public and private financing; 3. Enabling landscape scale implementation; 4. Strengthening monitoring systems and stakeholder participation. Bold dark text beneath reads: "These priorities are key to faster restoration and stronger wetland policy outcomes. Read the full white paper." A dark water texture fills the bottom edge. Six partner logos are arranged above it: forpeat, PALUS DEMOS, Interreg Euro-MED / Wetland4Change (co-funded by the European Union), RESTORE4Cs, rewet, WET HORIZONS, and Restoration for the Future WETLANDS.

Our take on: What are musts in #ScienceCommunication ✅ ✅ Science communication goes beyond simply sharing scientific information. It requires nuance and intention. Defining the core message and identifying the right audience are just some of the key questions to consider for effective outreach.
