Consistently have 4 D&D tables at our sessions! 1 ongoing campaign and 3 tables for drop-in one-shots. DMed for 7 new people in the month of September! I love giving the opportunity to play for folks who always wanted to- but never got the chance before. I’m brewing spooky stuff for October!

I value your opinion, so I have a question: Was the Odyssey so good that I have to see it in a theater? (I would go if I have to. But often the experience is challenged by my annoyance at other people. It takes effort to watch- and try to turn the other cheek.)

I was directed to use AI for a work task. And the AI is applying new bullet styles. I can see why asking a computer to make a cup of tea brought down the spaceship’s computer in “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”. 🤣

It probably helped that most of my cravings and wishes were some of her best dishes. I recognize I was lucky growing up in a house with good food. Our house was the house the neighborhood kids would go to. There was always fruit and snacks.

I don’t miss it because my wife plays 80’s music every day. Every day. Almost all day. I like 80’s. But I also like 60’s, 70’s and heck, even 40’s sometime. And broadway sometimes. And some modern stuff.

I remember my first pride. I remember PFFLAG marching by. So many of them. With signs “proud of my gay son” and “you are loved” and more. And tears streaming down my face as I smiled at every one of them.

Happy Pride! The local celebration included drag story hour. The books were sweet and inclusive. The families were lovely. I practiced my ASL by watching the interpreters. The exhibitors included many churches, organizations supporting health, and general support. Good energy today. Good day.

Ran a dnd one shot tonight. Had 7 people at my table. Theme was “hell or high water”. There was an amulet, water rising, hell fire, a magically closed door, boulders crashing, mud mephits, steam mephits, and a bearded devil! Super fun.
