iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

"post old art" I say, as I look through it all, maybe like 4 pieces from 2023, sporadic one-offs around 2018-20 like 9 from like 2014 and the rest are ancient like 1990-2005

and despite many failings in bsky, I might focus here. xitter is a cesspit.

ok so I've been on and off... mostly off of art for more than a decade. I might post random old works until I figure out where I want to go without pressure. there's still an artist in here somewhere, despite it all...

Y'all, we need to start calling genAI "artists" Art Incels.

GenAI fans still don’t realize that its slop output ranks leagues below clip art and bootlegs.

I've played maybe 20 games of Deadlock and about 5 of them had people RPing in them, I find it kinda fascinating haha

Started playing Deadlock and I didn't realize Vyper's look was still placeholder, now I'll be bummed if her new model is wildly different than what it is cuz I like her cute lizard face...

genAI is not a tool, it's not a medium and it sure as helly ain't art.

you can’t discern the difference between someone prompting “big boobie anime girl” & someone writing a detailed paragraph and running hundreds of iterations for hours to get exactly what they wanted this is what genAI fans fail to understand..

unlike traditional/digital art, no one can tell by looking at an AI image what it took to get the final output...

While we've gotten affirming feedback on Engine Angel, pitching unfortunately hasn't been successful. As a result, we've had to make the hard decision to lay off five team members. Each of these devs are incredible: if you have a place on your team, or know someone hiring, please keep them in mind!⬇

Some new folks are here so just a reminder that this is available! If anyone needs a while bunch of fat reference photos, this has over 1,000 or them. Reshares are extremely appreciated and any amount helps me, that's why it's pay what you can! 🩵

I keep thinking I should disappear off the internet but then I wouldn't see art and art people. I don't want to be well known, I just want to share art and see art... I'm just tired of the genAI slop.

No AI piece will ever have the same cultural impact as the Duct Tape Wall Banana.

The human condition lives in art, it bums me out how hungry people are to automate that meaning away through genAI.

ykw, I've always liked the idea of collaborating with a colorist on a comic or something. It's a beautiful art form and it can truly transform line-work to another dimension.

I don't suppose any of y'all have art history book recommendations? I feel like I need to revive/refresh my Art History minor knowledge from college ❛ ᴗ ❛;;
