I didn't do it right because this is nowhere near finished but some have little rings at the top of the window that people will connect via chains and hang the charms from the chains. I just haven't got around to getting the chain yet because this is a big WIP at the moment.

#Dabi kity ears get! Secondhand on Mercari so idk the maker unfortunately. Came with a tail as well but it needs a new belt. Will be using this with my casual cosplay once the black hair wig gets in.

The blue is the color of Dabi's fire from My Hero Academia and the ears are overall themed after him.

This is the look I'm hoping to have ready by vacation! He will have his lace up boots instead of the dress shoes, and I probably can't do the belt but I may try with something I have lying around, and if I can't make him a basic white tank due to timing he will wear his Hellfire Club shirt instead.

Attempt 3 pattern used. Updated with matching bottom hem and more fitted around the shoulders, unfortunately the sleeve area juts out a bit far so I'll trim it and go from there. I've already been warned shoulders and sleeves can be a huge pain... also bunches up when his arms are raised. Bleh :<

Back and front with taped fold in back to be more fitted. Cut this apart to make new pattern pieces, will try putting those together properly in a bit. After taking these I also made a mark to trim the bottom of the back piece to match the front. Will try to add sleeves again if this is successful.

Uh oh, NEW paper shirt!! 😱 Also headless 😔 Length in front is good, back not so much. Shoulders need work, will check how it looks with sleeves in next attempt (forgot to put em on oops). Back needs to be a bit less wide as well I think but front around the torso is pretty much perfectly fitted.

The new head is wigless and has not been painted yet, but it has turquoise eyes installed already, and a grinning expression with a white teeth piece that shows sharp canines. Shigaraki is still inside the cat backpack I got to carry him and my smaller Dabi ball jointed doll to cons and such. My messy room is visible in the background, but the dolls are the focus of the image.

Working on a mockup for my 75cm Dabi #BJD project. Head is the Inazuma Doll Yumi I won at #NYCDollCon, and the body is the DollFamily-H75 Boy Body Ver.II (78cm). Hoping to be able to put him together by the end of next year- BJD wait times are tough and it will require some time to save up. #DollSky

The body has some muscle and is standing in a casual pose. The head looks to have mostly realistic proportions to the body, but is slightly on the small side. The head and body are different skin tones in this edit but the body will match the head when I order it.

Another version of the previous image that shows the method I used to make the edit. I took separate photos of the doll head, table with measuring tape, and a photo of the body from the Alice's Collections store website and photo bashed them together referencing the measuring tape photo to figure out scale. It's not perfectly accurate but I think it's close enough.

Some birds are braving the blizzard. I'll have to thank whichever family member refilled the bird feeder on behalf of the lil guys. Opening the door got me a facefull of snow that stung even with my glasses blocking most of it. I imagine the birds are used to it, but I don't envy animals outside rn.

#Snow #Photography #Blizzard Stay safe, everyone. Somehow managed to get these nice photos of frost on the window pane by my front door. Phone cameras do a lot of work these days; other than the phone's automatic settings, which adjust the lighting when the angle/tilts changes, these are unedited.
