Count Binface stands on the edge of a shingle shoreline with white cliffs in the background. He holds a placard which states the Brexiteer slogan Leave Means Leave. Rowing away from him with a shifty glance over his shoulder at the sign is Nigel Farage wearing a business suit and tie, in a small wooden boat named Brexit Belter, a small Union Jack flying from the rowlock beside him.

Text reads
Whistleblower Sergei Cristo, who drew attention to Russian interference in British politics, has suggested Keir Starmer launch a full inquiry into the matter to 'turn the tables on the far-right populists.'

THE LONDON ECONOMIC

"The wider Russian interference story is concealed because the government continues to deny voters the transparency about what happened around Brexit and the 2019 election. If I was Keir Starmer, I would turn the tables on the far-right populists, and say 'We're going to have a full inquiry into Russian interference.'

They've got a petition to debate on Monday, 114,000 people signed a petition to have a full inquiry. Instead of sending some of the most junior ministers to that debate, Starmer could send somebody meaningful and actually say 'Yes, we're going to have that inquiry."

Photo of former Labour MP Tony Benn (d.2014) with him quoted as follows: "If the Labour Party could be bullied or persuaded to denounce its Marxists, the media - having tasted blood - would demand that it expel its socialists and form a harmless alternative to The Conservatives, which would be allowed to take office now and again when The Conservatives fell out of favour with the public. Thus British capitalism would be made safe."
