She is the softest cat I've ever petted (and that's among a lot of cats). Like softest feathers but softer. And so fluffy and pretty. ♥️

I met a kitten named Anneli today. She is 6 months. ♥️

He is purring up a storm! He wants me to bask in the sun with him in the mornings, so I sit on a chair. Dragged the mattress here, and I can lie down. 💖 He seems to be like "Finally you hooman understand the exquisite delight of morning sunworship." If I get up, he gives me a disappointed glare. 😸

I like the smell of garages and how cargo ships' decks smell like. So I'd definitely find those overalls cozy! (Maybe it's cause the smell told that we're home, after a long day, as a kid? Or it meant an adventure was gonna start.)

I feel bad of killing off bugs, cause they're a hecking important part of ecosystems, but balcony's a closed one. My approach is try to prevent them comin in the first place by companion plantin or treating the soil but I mean, if I'd land straight onto a salad penthouse as an aphid, I'd stay too.

I'm also scared of ants bc of childhood reasons. 😅 Outside I can move past them, but ...BUT I guess the few I've seen HERE, trek the side of Mt. Meowerest each morning just to come to our garden. They however only eat sap from my flowers and haven't reached the salad bed, so I got rid of the aphids.

For her it was extra protein but I'm scared of aphids and thrips especially. I know why they exist, and outside I'm gonna let them be. Ladybugs and their larvae eat them, also ants. But here no, so I made a strong repellent concoction from vinegar and herbs and gave them a quick last soak.

Basil's show was on when the birbs got some salad. I accidentally ripped off some caigua vines when trying to redirect them. Caigua splits where you snap them so...My estimate is that within two weeks the vines cover the whole window on this side of the balcony. It is getting pretty lush here!

The sunflowers. 🌻 The ceiling is high. Human needs to lift me up sniff them when they bloom. Like in Lion King. - Bean. 🐈‍⬛ PS. Did you know sunflower is used as a symbol for hidden disabilities eg. at airports and public places. It is getting recognized outside UK more and more!

Our Catriarch Parsa, and collector of cheese tax, has been enjoying mornings in the sun. She's also there always when chimkin is served, and today she got to clean up the unseasoned corn on the cob.
