I'm starting to have self doubts about continuing to post my art on social media anymore That's one of the few reasons I haven't posted much art in a while so I do apologise

I do hope so too, I've been wanting a rain world field guide for so long

✿Cato✿ @catoscanoodle.slugcat.me · 30/09/2026

We'll just have to wait and see and if it turns out the field guide is really disappointing with nothing interesting about it, then I'll just have to write my own!

I for one am disappointed but not because the rain world announcement wasn't about the games, we've had three major merch announcements in just this month and that's too much. But even still, I've been wishing for a rain world field guide for so long so I'm looking forward to when I can get that.

✿Cato✿ @catoscanoodle.slugcat.me · 30/09/2026

-because they are excited for new merch, no one has gotten their hands on any of the books yet so it's too early to judge. Please be mature about this and not attack others or try make them upset because they're happy about the rain world books, that's incredibly immature.

The rain world community is slowly shifting to how bad the silksong community was before it was released, the writing was on the wall that yesterdays announcement wouldn't have been a rain world 2 announcement and just because your expectations weren't met, there's no need to kill others moods-

Been playing a whole lotta Vintage Story, and this game speaks to me in cozy cottagecore ways I cannot describe. I’ve only SLIGHTLY modded it to add scugs lol. Did a magma board and drew my spearmaster :3

A coloured digital drawing of an anthropomorphic Spearmaster from Rain World weaving a basket in grass and wood armour.

Hm no I agree with my misunderstanding, everyone should ascend in the void sea right now

I feel like I hardly ever actually draw my own oc's after their initial reference image so I should definitely try to make something of them again soon

I have now been fed the idea to make slugpup variants of all my slugcat oc's so that might be something I do very soon when I feel like it :3

✿Cato✿ @catoscanoodle.slugcat.me · 09/09/2026

I often forget about the fact that slugpups have a 100% chance to spawn in rubicon and it's not a very fun fact for me, I really like the slugpups and they're too precious to be sent to hell when they die

also, Devout before the Void Sea! alt text in case it's hard to read

· almost pink sized since she's not a wall dweller
· mark from an unknown iterator
· 1 eye on her left!
· likes scavengers even if they don't trust her yet
· very few whiskers since she has vision
· has a brother and one parent
· avoids and lashes out at overseers

I think the strangest thing I hope that makes it to the next game is the jolly co-op features to change your slugcat colour and play as a slugpup
