Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 16/03/2026The best and perhaps only book of its kind about deep subsurface microorganisms living thousands of feet underground in rocks formed millions of years ago, and also involving Mars. It's always important to involve Mars. #booksky 061
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 12/01/2026The fresh green tentacle plant has something important to say. #photography 010
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 05/01/2026Oatmeal is a good grain to have for dinner once in a while, along with more standard dinner foods, like chicken and vegetables. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 04/01/2026A little diarrhea once in a while is good for clearing the bowels. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 03/01/2026Excellent reading for the winter season about a solitary cross-continent trek pulling a human-powered sled a thousand miles over Antarctica. Result not at all ideal, but effort still amazing. #booksky 020
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 01/01/2026Happy New Year! America 250! My favorite store at the Rose Parade! #photography 060
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 13/12/2025Can the government workers operating the weather machine please change the setting soon? I don't like it when it is eighty degrees in December. The upstairs of my house becomes too warm, while the downstairs is still really cold. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 09/12/2025It also looks like front and back don't matter to them. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 09/12/2025A memoir of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp by a Polish prisoner. Detailed depiction of camp life, from lice-picking to walking into the electric wire. Translation into English is beautifully unique, reads like no other memoir. #booksky 031
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 06/12/2025Winter night writing is best with a cup of hot milk or chocolate next to a cold window, while wearing a pair of bunny slippers, which help the brain think better. #writingcommunity 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 04/12/2025What every writer will soon want after finding out they want it is an invisibility cloak. Even if everyone else in the house knows where the writer is and what they are doing, it is best to wear the cloak and become unseen while writing. #writingcommunity 010
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 02/12/2025When there is a lot of chaos around, math books are the best to read, like bleach for the brain. #booksky 020
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 18/11/2025Row, row, row your boat, down the atmospheric river. Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, fuck the arsonists. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 16/11/2025Ice cream is to the heater in winter as air-conditioning to hot coffee in summer. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 12/11/2025I like how there is a calculator button on my computer keyboard with a picture of a calculator on it. It is very convenient, like my computer knows I need it. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 12/11/2025If I were in charge, I would geoengineer a winter storm at the start of fire season every year to preempt the work of the devil. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 09/11/2025As a big fan of factual information, I enjoy reading these very short introductions on a variety of topics. Please note that the author who wrote this book on WEATHER is named STORM Dunlop. I hope to write a book on rollerblading science under the pseudonym Skate Smarter. #booksky 031
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 06/11/2025I would like a hoard of small bots, like spider-sized, to deep-clean my home while I am working or sleeping, thanks. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 06/11/2025The Placebo Bandaid is an important medical practice. In it, a bandaid is placed over unbroken skin, where the bandaid is technically unnecessary but seems to help with whatever else is wrong in that area, such as inflammation or even a twitch. Maybe it does indeed help, being a good placebo. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 06/11/2025This is so nice to look at because of that, that they are all standing together. 010
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 05/11/2025My ideal pets are the meerkat and kookaburra. I want these Southern Hemisphere animals in my home and populating my neighborhood. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 04/11/2025Great brain book about brain as complex system of crazy interactions rather than an area a function. #booksky 030
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 04/11/2025I am writing a strange science fiction novel about the secret of a sound, the secret of a city. Each chapter is a single page, good for hoomans with attention span of goldfish. Novel posted here: catlinlee.wordpress.com #writingcommunity #fiction 040
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 03/11/2025Where is the Dodgers game tonight? I love watching them ruin the dreams of all other teams. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 02/11/2025Baseball is literally psychological torture. The tension builds up so much that winning the World Series is not enough to release it. We still gotta destroy the city afterwards. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 01/11/2025With the prevalence of home security cameras in modern times, there is a niche for females to dress up in long, white dresses and long, dark hair and glide through their neighborhoods at night! 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 31/10/2025I want to watch a drama about local city animals, starring raccoons, opossums, skunks, coyotes, cougars, bobcats, and bears. Bunnies, birds, cats, and dogs also featured, humans as extras. 010
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 23/10/2025The 1-10 big rig crash is the most horrific thing I've seen in a long time. You can be driving on the freeway in slow traffic, then a big rig drives up behind you and pancakes you in your car, and it's all over. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 22/10/2025Eggs are down to $2.39 a dozen and milk is $1.79 a quart in expensive California. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 19/10/2025Fall is so great. Shorter days, less light, darkness descending, ahahahahaha! 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 15/10/2025This thing definitely comes alive at night and grabs passersby to discuss important issues. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 14/10/2025Rain! Rain! Rain! Tell me about the waters of your homeworld, Muad'Dib. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 14/10/2025I wonder if it is possible to import meerkats to the Mojave Desert or Southern California in general. It is probably a bad idea to have non-native species running around, but I would love to see meerkats running around. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 13/10/2025Today, while biking, I passed an entity millimeters from my tires. It was long, skinny, smooth, curled, and scary. It could have been (1) a twig (too curly), (2) a worm (too long), (3) a snake (too smooth), or (4) an extraterrestrial. I passed by too fast to kill it, so the Earth is doomed. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 12/10/2025Today, while biking, I passed by a tree mulcher in operation on the side of the road and gave it a wide berth to avoid crashing my bike and falling inside. 000
Catlin Lee @catlinyy.bsky.social · 11/10/2025There are some fonts that are good for reading and appear often in print and online, but what about writing? Maybe some fonts better for writing, different from those that are good for reading. #writingcommunity 021
