Over the 3 years I have been following you there has been so much art you have shown us. And what I am most thankful for is discovering Bertha Wegmann. I hadn't even heard of her before you posted Portrait of Jeanna Bauvk. .

I've not heard of her but I'm now looking forward to reading her.

Do you think this is AI? The green leaves don't look right to me.

Such a foolish sycophant Polis is.

If you copy a post word for word from another author (in this case Ron Filipkowski) it is only right that you give credit to the real author of the post.

Just another reason to feel despair today. I don't know who is worse: the psychopath ICU nurse or the disgusting and cowardly hospital management that put PR over innocent babies.

In 20 years when he has a double chin and creases between the rolls of saggy skin he is going to look grotesque.

I literally just discovered this show today. I watch very few dramas but I just finished watching 23 seasons of Midsomer Murders last night (took me many months) and was feeling sort of lost when my YouTube algorithm came to my rescue with a recommendation for Vera.

My favorite fern. I haven't seen one in a very long time. Yours looks pretty healthy.

Seems simple to me: If I wanted to ensure the max amount of attention I might use the most controversial vehicle in the world and blow it up in front of the glitzy building owned by the most controversial person in the world.

This is an excellent documentary and is part of the reason I refuse to step inside a Walmart. There is actually one 3/4 mile from me and I've never even considered shopping there. Sam's is in the same category.

This stretch of Hwy 1 through Big Sur is indescribably beautiful. It's old California. Plus you can see whales from the cliffs and baby sea lions on the beach. Get lunch at rustic Nepenthe, with a $M view and probably someone famous next to you. You don't want to die without seeing Big Sur.

That is one of the most fascinating historic photos I have ever seen.

OMG. I fear my New Year resolution is in great peril.

I would give just about anything to be able to get inside the minds of dogs. It would be such a joy to understand the mind of such pure, loving beings.

Magpies? We don't have them in the US. I hear they are mischievous little things.

If you gave Story a very small stuffed animal would she still want you to carry it for her? I'm wondering if the size of her stuffies either makes it difficult to see the steps, or makes her feel she is going to trip? Just a thought.

Costco truly tries to do good. I have a physics prof friend who got so burned out he quit teaching. His wife insisted he get a job, any job, so he went to Costco. That was two years ago. He loves the job and the company. He's healthier than he's been in decades and his marriage has been rejuvenated.

The thing about trump is that he is so predictable. It's always a safe guess to assume he will do that thing that shows he has no integrity, moral compass or concern for anything but himself.

Brilliant photo. No AI or editing.

Yes. As soon as the Warriors and just a couple of other people come over to BlueSky I'm outta here.

I also check their list of people they follow. You'd be surprised how many men ONLY follow women. But the prize goes to the man whose list has clumps of women of the exact same first name. 51 Marys then next about 30 Marias, then many Saras followed by Sarahs. I was 1 of 26 Cathys. Severe OCD??

I've heard different origin stories of love/obsession for greyhounds and galgos and in my mind I picture it like the iconic meme of Cupid shooting an arrow into the lover's heart. It happened to me too. The rescue I support is 112 Carlotta Galgos in Andelucia. Small but huge in love and dedication.

Howard Buffett. A noble and generous humanitarian. He's given close to $1 billion to Ukraine.

None of your 'facts' support your premise. Not even the dictionary supports it. No matter how many emotional embellishments you surround your premise with it doesn't change the its foundational error. FYI I fought and argued with ins co's professionaly for 20+ years. I hate 'em.

The premise of your post is that the killer is a hero. But you don't know the def of hero. I personally ran a free clinic in SF for uninsured people so I understand the urgency, tragedy and severity of the problem. Work on yr reading comprehension and how 2 form and defend an argument. Good luck.

By your criteria someone like Kyle Rittenhouse or even trump could qualify as a hero. Where is his courage, or nobility of character or purpose? Perhaps 'hero' isn't the word you meant to use?

Merry Christmas to you too and thank you for the sweetness you and your pack add to my day.

While I've always fed birds and squirrels, since my dog Ivy died in September I also have been putting food out for the raccoons, possums and foxes. Many say that we shouldn't do that but if we can make their lives less difficult then I'm going to.

I had never heard of this peninsula before now. Looks stunning. But this isn't a photo taken recently is it? I would think there would be snow and ice?
