Honestly I agree. I'm only going for vinyls of the albums that shaped me as a musician. Definitely more a collection than anything I plan to use casually. Most will hang on my wall. I'm considering a CD collection too just because they're easier to pop in and go

My vinyl collection grows and a Laserdisc one begins anew (I don't have a player for either formats yet, I'm just a nerd)

I can't stop thinking how wrong the tech bros have understood creativity and creators. Or even just having hobbies. #erliart

I just unfollowed a creator I thought was really down to earth for years but then he started using/pedaling Gen AI slop in his videos and comments. Really goes to show you never know who is just pretending to have integrity

Picked up some of the GOATs today 🗿

King Crimson's "Schizoid Man" and My Chemical Romance's ”Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" vinyl albums still in wrap. Mine. You can't have them. They're going on my wall, smelly.

True Firepower has finally been recorded. No AC makes it way worse, but that's nothing a conveniently placed sweat towel can't fix

I think it's an application of "be resourceful or die". Life imitates life at every evolutionary stopgap and Theres always a bigger fish out there. That's why billionaires exist. They're not actually 'bigger fish', they're just shrimp that can afford bigger rocks... with 12 bathrooms

010

CatharsisYT @catharsisrobb.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

Shrimp use rocks for safety and cover, so to me it makes sense as "it's not JUST a rock, it's ALSO this other thing". The ulterior motive isn't necessarily a threat, persay, but being used for a purpose one wouldn't immediately consider on the surface☝️🤓

Same! I recently bought a GBA SP from a local shop and with a copy of Pokemon Emerald I've been able to detach from my phone just to focus on a single nostalgic function. I've been heavily considering getting a Wii and TP again for the same reason. I poured MONTHS into that title lol

020

CatharsisYT @catharsisrobb.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

Before and after of my GBA SP screen swap, which looks beautiful (ignore the screw covers I hadn't set them yet lol). I missed tinkering and modding on retro devices, but I'll never miss ribbon cables that are juuuuust long enough 💀

I didn't expect people in my community to be so ok with the idea of a random furry OC showing up on merch for no real reason. You learn something new every day, like how the venn diagram of furries and gacha gamers is almost a circle

020

CatharsisYT @catharsisrobb.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

I'm improving on guitar but at what cost

010

CatharsisYT @catharsisrobb.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

Yeah I think they just chose to limit it like that. They make the weirdest choices like that

000

CatharsisYT @catharsisrobb.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

Yeah it's audio only and honestly a waste of time as a result. Great exclusively for podcasters but even then has security flaws that allows people to share the rss links to non-members. It's a mess and why most people don't care to use it over just releasing publicly on actual podcast platforms
