in the larger oval shaped room in the mines, looking away+right to the tunnel leading to the elevator, theres a hole in the wall, and you can follow a thin ridge outside to a hole in a separate lil cave room you can jump (not walk!) into & back, i dont have an ingame screencap so i drew this thing

Not necessarily horror, but this piece by Max Ernst, Murdering Airplane, always screwed me up, I'm not one to get visceral reactions often but when I first saw this I swear felt a genuine fear response, even now I can't look at it for too long. An excellent and absolutely dreadful painting.

Flamingo #lisathepainful #pixelart

Pixel art of a smokey pinkish-red bar, the walls are grey, the windows are tinted dark pink, the door is glass with a stylized flamingo infront of the moon displayed on it, a pair of umbrella leaf plants sit on pots on either side of the door. A framed photo of a woman and a live flamingo bird hangs on the wall near the door. There are multiple booths as well as a pool table on the left side of the room and a counter with many bottles behind it on the right side of the room. in the rightmost corner, is a door with a bead curtain and a pink neon sign overhead that reads 'X X X'. Theres only one person in the room, the player character, who stands near the doorway and faces the camera; He's tall with long ginger hair and goatee. He wears a black leather jacket, jeans, and red finger-less gloves.

The first text screen from the Doom 2 wad 'Auger Zenith', it reads: Everywhere you look is a portal to another world; The black mirrors of every screen are portals for cybernetic devils. The Augers prophesied this usurpation of civilization. You just didn't know it would be at the hands of powers most ancient. Your whole life you've never even seen the stars. The zenith of civilization brought to its knees by a technological barrier. That barrier has been broken.
