Awww, kitty! I'm glad he's inside and warm and dry. (Everything looks so green now in the video!)

The mama cat who showed up at our back door six months ago and her four kittens are also sending encouragement!

But my brain still immediately flips back to "this is scary and I can't do this" whenever someone else makes a comment about the mess.

Best wishes! I can relate to all of this - I have always been terrible at keeping things tidy. I've gotten a little better at it now that I'm the primary cook in the household, and (at least in the kitchen) I feel like I'm tidying for me.

I hope you are feeling better soon. Here is a kitten picture in case it helps - mama cat is a stray I’ve been feeding for about two months and she’s finally decided she trusts me enough to let the kittens near me. You are awesome and you are appreciated.

And there’s pastries, too! Okay, I think that’s enough caffeine for right now.

Tuesday morning coffee and yarn spinning is grey #alpaca fiber from a local alpaca farm! 🧶 It turns out there are several alpaca farms near me! I would have thought Florida would be too warm, but apparently not. It’s exciting ti be able to explore local sources of fiber! #handspinning #FiberArt

Friday morning coffee and yarn spinning is more purple Shetland and a sample of Gulf Coast Native lamb’s wool. 🧶 The fleece from a young sheep’s first shearing is typically finer and softer than later shearings. This is a very nice soft fleece that I washed and combed myself. #FiberArt
