The biggest difference between Hyth's love for Azem and Hades' love for Azem, in my canon, is that Hyth accepts Azem for who they are - including their inability to return his affection - and Hades thinks their love is worth fighting for. "If I just do enough, say the right things, then surely..."

Speaking of Rhemi...she's sooooo cute

Rhemi in the soft light of dawn. She's wearing her standard Paladin glam - a rosy pink tunic with a dark brown corset, bronze armor covering her left arm, red glasses, and a flower crown made up of white and pink flowers.

Rhemi looking perturbed at someone off-camera.

Rhemi bundled up against the cold in a pink coat and black beret, in front of dark ruins.

Rhemi squinting with determination, surrounded by shades.

Wait lmao I'm sure this is a coincidence but

An achievement unlocked by finishing the first SHB post-role quests quest, which awards the title Living Memory.

Incidentally I'm assuming we'll go to the 13th in 9.0, but my guess is that they'd make that content required in the 8.4-8.55 patches (IF they're going to...I just don't see how they won't...)

100

Mikh'a! 🌻🔞 @catboylife.bsky.social · 26/07/2025

Let's see...by the time we go to the 13th...Picto and Viper unlock at 80 so that takes care of magical/physical dps role quests...we'll have a tank unlocking at 90 in 8.0...which means healer would be either Sage (level 70) or the new healer job I assume we'll get in 9.0 (level 100)

Mikh'a! 🌻🔞 @catboylife.bsky.social · 26/07/2025

It's gonna be extremely funny if they make the Warring Triad and ALL SHB role quests mandatory for MSQ in the future. Although I guess by then it won't be hard for casual players or people with (raid) alts to pick up the roles they're missing with jobs that unlock at 80+

100

Mikh'a! 🌻🔞 @catboylife.bsky.social · 26/07/2025

Hmm...I just did the SHB post-role quests questline with Cyella on Rhemi...I wonder how they're going to tie that in when it's time to go to the 13th. You'd think it would be side content since you have to unlock so much to even access it, but with it being SO plot relevant...

Actually... [evil thoughts] it would be very funny if (much like cats irl) Mara got pregnant from both Mikh'a and G'raha...twins...one with the Allagan eye... also being pregnant with twins would be torture for Mara. "You're not telling ME to take it easy 🔫😾"

(Now that I have crimes instead of just alts I should take proper ref shots of Shilo/Mikh/Vhana - and Rhemi - the way I did with Mikh'a) All this being said...maybe I should make some funny wolship kids for Mikh'a/Mara/G'raha...just for fun :3c

The colors aren't exact bc I didn't have a shader when I took the shots of Mikh'a's parents or Rhemi's mom. Also Rhemi's skin color isn't quite "in between" her parents' skin colors for the same reason I made Mikh'a more warm-toned than Keepers can be in-game - gotta keep at least ONE Seeker quality

Mikh'a! 🌻🔞 @catboylife.bsky.social · 21/07/2025

I *kind of* already did this...twice. Mikh'a looks (a little bit) like a mashup of his parents, and Rhemi looks (almost exactly) like a mashup of Mikh'a and her mom.

Mikh'a's parents: a Seeker of the Sun miqo'te with the same face as Mikh'a, tan skin, black hair, and green eyes; and a Keeper of the Moon miqo'te with dark pinkish-red hair, pale skin, and gold eyes.

On the left is Mikh'a, a Keeper of the Moon miqo'te with light tan skin, red hair, and blue eyes. On the right is Rhemi's mom Vhana, a Keeper of the Moon miqo'te with light grey skin, dark greyish-purple hair, and red eyes.

Because Mikh'a was one of the younger kids, he wasn't taught, but his father did at least take the time to teach him his numbers and as much math as he could. Also, his older cousins' literacy benefited him by giving him a larger vocabulary than he'd have otherwise.

He was not able to read or write until Alphinaud taught him (at his behest) during Heavensward, so he could contact his family. His parents and all of his aunts can read and write, but with so many children in the family, it was impossible to teach them all.

Mikh'a wanted a way to support his family financially after they were fully settled back in on their farm post-calamity, and by then his daughter Rhemi was old enough to understand that he would be leaving and coming back. His parents are/were adventurers, so he knew it was decent money.

Copycats!!

A slightly rotated shot of Mara Kaminagi and Rhemi Rintala, both posing identically for selfies while winking and giving peace signs to their phones, using the visage emote in FFXIV. Mara is wearing a black and purple cropped techwear jacket with one arm exposed, black shorts, and fingerless gloves with black nail polish. Rhemi is wearing a lilac dress with red frills and details, a pink cropped jacket, lilac tights, and round glasses.

I'm going through the end of post-Stormblood on Rhemi and thinking about an AU where the Exarch summons her to the First before anyone else and then PANICS because she's only 6 years old and oh my god that's Mikh'a's DAUGHTER, he's gonna turn the Exarch into paste

Mara collects interesting rocks and sticks, G'raha collects books and Allagan bullshit, Mikh'a brings home dubious creatures and asks "can we keep it? 🥺" G'raha is usually the one going "wtf is wrong with you two" regarding what the others bring home though
