The teacher threw her cellphone at him and then wrestled him to the ground. She was unarmed.

Another teacher in the room threw her cellphone at the shooter and then tackled him, Chief Mike Krantz of the Bend Police Department said.

Outside, Kaylub Giamanco, a father of two girls at the school, had seen the red pickup get shot while driving by on his lunch break. He swerved onto the sidewalk and ran inside.

He found the gunman wrestling with the teacher who tried to stop him and shot him several times with a .40-caliber handgun that had been legally secured in his truck, the police said. The suspect, who died, was carrying 44 more rounds of ammunition.

How a Teacher and a Dad Stopped the Slaughter in Bend The city of Bend, Ore., is praising those who worked to stop the gunman at Silver Rail Elementary School. The authorities are searching for answers.

Love is ice upon the ladder that you need to climb

A photo from the eras tour during the song “lavender haze” and pictured is the dancer Jan Ravnik wearing brown pants, and an unbuttoned white shirt, exposing his dreamy muscles, and he’s grabbing onto a purple ladder with a cloud perched on top of it

I couldn’t believe a group of my co-workers were planning to start a party at 9pm. Another co-worker said, “it’s because they’re young and you don’t get it because now you’re old.” But there has never been a time in my life I want to start partying at 9pm

Another school shooting and it wasn’t even front page news. The same cycle of “thoughts and prayers” but no action, just grief and anxiety for when this inevitably happens again. Shoutout to the hero who pursued & killed the gunman! Unbelievable bravery!!!! www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...

got a Seahawks shirt for him. He was so grateful and put it on right away. I told him to wear it on Thursday (our next game) because I think it will make more people want to help him. Supporting the same sports teams really builds a sense of comradery.

There’s an unhoused man I often see around town wearing a 49ers jersey. This is Seahawks country & we take it very seriously. I asked if he gets less donations when he wears the 49ers jersey & he said yes but he only has a few shirts so he can’t afford to not wear it. So I went into the store &

not like him. I don’t think he’s a terrible person at his core, but he’s so deep in a misogynistic circle that he only gently challenges, it’s obviously going to bleed into his comedy.

Shane has some very funny material. He apparently also tried to get Rogan to be more liberal based on a few clips I’ve seen. I don’t think he’s maga because he has a bit about loser guys like him all loving Trump when he doesn’t. But saying slurs & that pathetically unfunny SNL monolgue make me

Prossesing the loss. We deserved it with all the turnovers. We don’t have a running back and our offense was built around the run game. Our defense still delivered and I’m proud of them. This hurt, but we are going to improve & I still think we’re championship caliber.
