In addition, Lush sources extra virgin olive oil from Palestine’s Marda Permaculture Farm. They have been very outspoken about Palestine and Gaza support! Media (especially in the US since it is a UK brand) does not cover it nearly enough.

Lush did a fund raising campaign last year! They sold watermelon soap and "100% of the profits will be donated solely to projects providing urgently-needed professional mental health support, trauma counselling and art and play therapies for children in Gaza and the West Bank" starting in 2024.

My partner and I have had a rough year. With regular bills, surgery expenses and now vet bills piling up. We were faced with another familial when we had to say goodbye to our dear cat Nala on 8/21/2025. We chose what was best for her but have racked up hefty vet bills for her palliative care.

After a very successful surgery, my constant furry soulmate has been declining in health. It breaks my heart to see her in pain and discomfort. I'll miss her every day of my life.
