iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Thankfully my state managed to get a blue governor and AG this cycle so there’s been some resistance here, but we have a massive refugee community so everyone’s on edge

I heard one woman talking to someone a few spaces behind me say, “maybe they’ll find some money to send to Asheville now,” and it took every bone in my body not to turn around and scream “there’s not going to BE A SWIMMING POOL YOU STUPID SLUT”

And the juxtaposition between one executive warning us about how difficult the next few quarters are going to be on the “middle earner consumer base” with another gleefully celebrating how much “easier” it’s going to be to work with this congress was insane

First day in the office post inauguration has been pretty viciously upsetting. Our Chicago office offered free floating holidays to any staff attorney willing to go provide assistance to individuals being impacted by the raids.

Can someone take me to the Bluesky danmei artist accounts my TL is dry and empty

I do find it funny that the White House called TikTok’s statement yesterday a “stunt” but service providers did indeed take the app off of all of their platforms today. So it clearly wasn’t. Literally fuck ALL of yall.

I love the man but this is going to be a rough ride - Nie Huaisang, probably

I really wanted to rehab JC’s image in the mdzs retelling the way I did for SWD in NPAB but the more I read mdzs the more I’m like

3330

It will! I’ve gotten a lot of info on it from friends who love it but I’ve not had the time to sit down and read anything until recently 🥹

I’m about to start QJJ 🙏

Well since my civil rights have been stripped away here’s a danmei edit that I can’t post anywhere else 🥴 #mxtx #mdzs #wangxian #danmei #bl

Idk what is going on with recruiters because why are you trying to entice full time employees with a contract position Like who would willingly downgrade 😭

0110

Why did I with my own two eyes witness the Swiftologist (whomst I otherwise have never had an issue with) indicate that a discovery process has somehow going on for MONTHS when there was no complaint filed until DECEMBER Even just watching the Good Wife would teach you BETTER THAN THAT

1110

I have a whole ass law degree and maybe I DID take civil procedure during quarantine but I PASSED and I know damn well yall don’t know the rules of discovery or when it even starts so WHYYYYY do I see so many people making videos about Blake Lively on TikTok pretending that they DO

1140

Ohhhh we have a fun time!! I write my ongoing fics in there before I post them on Ao3, and I’m reading MDZS on stream in there to get through my ADHD 😂 we’d love to have you 🥹❤️

I’m emerging if only on the butterfly app 🙂‍↕️

Wei Wuxian being startled by Lan Wangji expressing concern and taking care of him after he got the curse mark in Vol. 1 because “no one had ever treated him like that before” absolutely devastated me #mdzs #mxtx #wangxian #danmei

Ethel Cain using a dark industrial experimental album to intentionally purge her own audience is so funny but honestly I get it 😭

You’ve been trying to learn Spanish since 2007 charles it’s NOT GONNA TAKE

There is nothing more obnoxious than a white middle aged father stopping you mid conversation for his duolingo session

1110

MDZS is one of those books where SO MUCH is in what ISN’T said and there’s so much showing and not telling, I feel like I’m observing new things every time I reread it 😭

0170

Evie @cataclysmicevie.bsky.social · 07/01/2025

I’m rereading and annotating MDZS (for reasons) and it’s so noticeable how much more Lan Wangji speaks when he and Wei Wuxian are alone?? 😭 I’m gonna cry #mdzs #wangxian #mxtx

When I tell you I try to think about other things but I spend 80% of my brain power at any point and time contemplating the sequel I’ve been writing to No Paths Are Bound that centers on the kids

Someone in my TikTok comments today said MXTX was “one margarita away from writing omegaverse dubcon” and I laughed so hard I caused a disruption at work #mxtx #danmei

I got accused of being biased against straight people once on Twitter and I think about that every day

Using tags anywhere outside of tiktok feels so odd but HERE WE ARE

Baptizing my Bluesky with Hua Cheng being healed via fatherhood #tgcf #mxtx #danmei

Yeah sort of! And the server has other channels where you can talk with other members about Danmei, watch art streams, play mini games, it’s pretty cool!

I try to make it a point not to know but it’s somehow made it all over my TikTok fyp 😭

Hi! So what I do is I write the fics in discord channels—it’s actually easier to read that way, and people can interact while reading easier than they do on Twitter. And I have a really great mod team who helps make it a fun environment!

That nasty take over on Twitter calling every danmei that wasn’t Mxtx “slop” was such rage bait and I’m so exhausted
