Today marks 40 years since the release of #AkumajoDracula! I was 5 in 1991 when I was first introduced to the game and it created a lifelong love of the series! It’s been a joy growing up with the Belmont’s and I hope to see the fight against Dracula continue for many more years! #Castlevania

Konami has added the original #Castlevania to mobile platforms for free, but you’ve only got a month to download it! www.konami.com/games/castle...

Will you be playing the demo for #Castlevania Belmont’s Curse when it’s available on Oct. 1 or will you be waiting for the full release on Oct. 15? I’ll be waiting for the full release because I don’t think I’ll be able to stop playing!

It’s been a crazy couple of months. Bought a house, packed the apartment, painted and finally getting to start unpacking. Set up some of the #Castlevania stuff in the spare bedroom just to get back to normal! It’s a mess but a mess I’m happy to see! And just a couple weeks away from Belmonts Curse!

“Simon Belmont takes orders from only one person…Simon Belmont.” It’s been AGES since I last watched Captain N, but definitely have fond memories of watching reruns after school. Anyway, this version of Message of Darkness that plays in the background is actually pretty great! #Castlevania

I had a dream last night where I was walking through a Japanese used game store and came across a 2D Gameboy Color release of Castlevania Judgment. Now I wish this were a real thing! Enjoy my poor mock up of what it looked like! #Castlevania

There are a lot of questions surrounding #Castlevania #BelmontsCurse at the moment, but one I want answered is will we see the often forgotten Grant Danasty? Missing from Netflix, pachislot 3 and no representation in DoS Julius Mode or the Lords of Shadow games But I think we’ll see his return here

Konami also shared this video on the official website. Really great to see #Castlevania return for the 40th Anniversary. I’m sure we’ll be seeing another collection, maybe 3D. I’d also like an Ultimania style book and maybe some figures/merch. Its going to be a good year! youtu.be/lsIye_bWY_8?...

I always thought it would be really cool to have a Simon Belmont #Amiibo stand depicting the cover art of the original #Castlevania, so I decided to give it a try and make my own. Designed in Nomad Sculpt, printed and hand painted by me. The CV logo was found already made, but adds a nice touch!

I came across this really great Medusa print that reminded me of the statue before her head pops off, so I just had to print it! It’s a little smaller than the NECA Simon Belmont, but it’s still a good one for for the #Castlevania collection

Got a 3D printer over the holidays and thought I’d print my model of #KidDracula I made a little while back. Paint jobs not the best but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Currently working on another #Castlevania 3D print I designed too

Recently, I’ve been playing around with creating 3D models using Nomad Sculpt. I thought a fun way to learn would be to create Kid Dracula, since he’s got some pretty simple shapes! Really need to make the hands better but not bad after 6 attempts! Still a WIP #Castlevania #KidDracula #NomadSculpt

Watching my wife play #Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest for the first time is hilarious! First she’s trying to attack towns folk, then she falls in water and wants to know why Belmont’s can’t swim! Panics a bit when the “Horrible Night” begins! It was very enjoyable!

It was Julius Belmont who ultimately destroyed Dracula in 1999, ending centuries of terror. After defeating Dracula, Julius placed the Vampire Killer within the castle to help keep its dark magic weakened. As the castle was sealed away within the eclipse, no trace of Julius was found… #Castlevania

Alucard, under the name Genya Arikado, had been working with the Japanese government and the Hakuba Shrine to devise a way to stop Dracula once and for all During the Battle of 1999, the Hakuba priest was able to seal Dracula’s Castle within the eclipse, ensuring it would never return #Castlevania

It was predicated by Nostradamus that in 1999 the King of Terror would descend upon the land. After Richter Belmont wielded the Vampire Killer, it was said that the whip would not be able to be used by the Belmont’s for many years and so it was passed to the Morris clan After Jonathan Morris used it in 1944, it was given back to the Belmont’s but the details remain unknown #Castlevania

I came to #Castlevania SOTN late as we didn’t get a PS1 until Christmas ‘98. We were at KB Toys and my mom said “you like these games, don’t you?”. Took it home and was immediately blown away. I couldn’t guess how many times I’ve played it over the years, but it still remains an all time favorite!
