Mama is hijacking my account to share the newest leaf 🍃 on her Alocasia frydek plant. She got this plant as a tiny baby a year ago with just two two-inch leafs and she is ridiculously proud of how it’s grown! 😃 it is her pride and joy ❤️

A large green Alocasia leaf with white veins.

The same large green Alocasia leaf with Mamas hand beside it for comparison. It is twice as long as Mamas hand.

The fishermen were back on my beach tonight…. I watched them carefully but I didn’t see them catch any fishies ☹️

A small brown dog faces away from the camera down a long stoney beach. In the distance there are fishermen with tents and fishing rods set up on the shore. The sea is calm. The distant clouds are very dark and threatening rain.

First Mama’s IPhone thought I was a Puggle. 😂😂😂 Now it thinks I’m a Blackmouth Cur (which gotta be honest we had never heard of) 🤷‍♀️ Mama says I’m not either of these things… just a very pretty girl 🥰

We met a small pug who was wearing a muzzle today. Mama said “oh I hope Cassie doesn’t try to be too friendly this dog might like some space” and she tightened up my leash. The pug owner called over “don’t let the muzzle fool you! She’s very friendly she just obsessively eats sticks!” 😅🙈😂

Mama realised today that we haven’t introduced Pippin 🐢 to our new friends here! Pippin is a two year old tortoise who lives with me and Mama. He always looks grumpy but he’s a sweetie ❤️

A very small tortoise sits in his enclosure on a clay substrate with water smoothed pebbles on top. He looks to the camera while a small slate sign to the right says “welcome to Pippin’s house”.

I’m resting lots to recover from my big girl spay op. I was feeling a little lonely in my den and although Mama gave me lots of pets and gentle rubs- I’m too sore for snuggles with Mama. So she let me have my little alien fren in here with me ❤️

I’m really tired pals 🥱 Me and mama did work in the garden this evening. Mama filled in all my holes so I had to redig them all. The worst part is I think she did it on purpose- why would she do that? I worked really hard on them 🥺

In winter Mama is grateful that she works from home some days as we can have quick adventures at lunch hour before it gets too dark! Here I am leading the way in the woods!
