You’re not… Eddie, you’re not doing well right now. I’ve been so worried about you and this—” his voice catches, “—you… Eddie, please don’t. Just leave it.”

The clearest buddie/gay eddie hint for 8x08 will be Eddie calling Buck baby during a Buck NDE. It will be the right level of ‘what did he just say?’ & can be panic induced whilst not being a full confession. It opens the door for gay Eddie AND Buddie in 8b.
