Clearly safety has NOT been built in or there would be an interlock between the indicator light and the recording function so if the light is in any way tampered with there is a permanent disabling of storage at the hardware level.

We spent 30 minutes looking for HAL. It got stuck while we were on holiday then lost internet. It had wandered into the storage room because the door was open then ended up behind the water heater. Would have found it sooner but when it loses internet you can't access the map. #SmartHomeTech
