Raw cover art for The Passing of Tengliu, a new #ttrpg I got to work on with @its-disco.bsky.social and @skeletonsmile.bsky.social. There was a lot of concepts we were trying to cram into such a limited space and I think it turned out pretty cool for it. doubledisco.itch.io/the-passing-...

In the foreground is an unkempt monk with shaggy hair and a beard, turned away from the viewer. His muscular back and arm is covered in a tattoo of an owl, and he is letting a short bayonet slip from his fingers. The monk is facing off with a large muscular half-man, half-leopard, perched on a crumbling statue of Tengliu, a winter goddess. The beast monk is bearing its teeth as snow is whipping in the wind behind him.

The character design is based on this werewolf knight I drew back in 2021. The original design is stronger imo so maybe ill have to revisit it again.

Trying out some photo-bashing, inspired by Dark Souls 3's character concept art. I like the end result fairly well but it certainly takes a while. #illustration #darksouls #characterdesign

New avatar for the first time in a few years. Not a great likeness but I more so wanted to hit a cool vibe. #art #digitalart

An attempt at a realistic Goku and Vegeta from last year. While they're both full blooded sayains, I thought it'd be cool to give Vegeta some slight great ape traits like pointier ears and teeth. #art #digitalart #dbz

Busts of Goku and Vegeta. Even though he's technically an alien, I tried to have Goku look Chinese, seeing as he's based on Chinese myth. He also has much rounder features in general to fit his personality as well as the softer look of Dragonball. Vegeta is much more angular and I tried not to shy away from making him look a little off-putting. When he first arrives on Earth, Toriyama draws him sharp and scary. I wanted to keep as much of that as I could, even if later in the series he softens quite a bit.

White Knight with Swordstaff #art #digitalart

A White Knight and his Great Swordstaff. Underneath his fine armor, he is considered to be the most handsome and charming of the High Kings knights. In battle, though, he seems to take on the spirit of a horrible beast, roaring, gnashing teeth, and with breath so hot that his helmet lets off steam like a boiling pot.

Some Godzilla designs from a few years back. Id like to revisit this project sometime cause I had a ton more designs and what I thought was kind of a cool story behind it. #Godzilla #art #digitalart

The first Godzilla in this timeline. Actively mutating and regenerating. Once it has reached a suitable shape, It will spawn a far more stable and powerful clone before perishing to the oxygen destroyer.

An ancient creature that had entered an extreme version of torpor, appearing more like self mummification. Anguirus was resurrected upon the arrival of the second Godzilla.

Alien Moth. Possibly a relative of the lifeforms that aided in the creation the weapons that created Godzilla.

I dont remember where Rodahn was supposed to have come from. Possibly some sort of DNA pulled from Anguirus.

That little Hollow Knight if they were a bug #art #digitalart #HollowKnight

I drew this before actually playing hollow knight and realizing hes like a soulless smoke creature instead of a bug. Kinda wish Hollow Knight leaned heavier into the bug angle with its character designs.

A black knight and his undead squire. #art #digitalart

A black knight and his squire. In return for his service, a sorceress has resurrected his young companion. The squire removes a lock of hair from every man slain by the knight and braids it into the knights own. The weight of this hair pulling on his scalp reminds the knight of the weight of the lives he's taken.

Illustrations for STEADY, a tabletop game I worked on with @its-disco.bsky.social back in 2024. Its led to a lot of really great memories even if the drawings themselves were admittedly pretty rushed. #art #digitalart #darkfantasy #ttrpg #ttrpgs
