Giving it up would've let Sochan go 1x1 or even throw a lob back to him. Taking the whole way forces the defender to take him and would give Sochan the chance at a rebound. 000

He was getting pushed out to the 3pt line by anybody he tried to post and had a loose handle that hurt drives. So while he grew and developed, he "settled" for jumpers. 000

His 15.5 TRB% would've been T-22 and his 4.8 BLK% would've been T-9 among qualified players. Those are the kind of numbers the Spurs need from their non-Wemby center. 031

I wrote how I thought Carter would be gone before 14, but loved the idea of him being a Spur. Then said I'd sign Kornet with the MLE. Let's see how this FA plays out. 000

Talent doesn't matter all that much if all the talented pieces don't fit together on the court. So as good as I do think Harper is, I'm anxious to see him on the court with Fox and Castle. 110
